    In 2022 I received a quote from Quality Hardwood Flooring LLC to install and refinish wood flooring in my home. I specifically asked if their work and products would hold up to pet traffic. ******************* assured me that his products were resistant to pet traffic. I hired his company to do my refinishing and installation project. In June 2022 they came and installed hardwood and refinished some existing flooring in my home. Initially the work seemed good until I started noticing peeling, flaking, and excessive scratching and wear in a short period of time. **************** came to inspect the floors and admitted that there was a problem with the adhesion and that the floors would need resurfaced. He would take care of it at his expense as it was an installation issue. In June of 2023 I had to move out of my home and move all of my belongings at my own time and cost in preparation of the refinishing to fix the issue. I have text documents where **************** stated that they would be "abrading the finish layer by buffing the entire floor and applying a new coating over top. The abrasion will remove most scratches and it also creates mechanical adhesion for coating". He assured me that most scratches would be taken care of. I reiterated that I wanted all scratches taken care of and that I was willing to be out of my home as long as necessary. It took him one day and when I returned there was no improvement to the floor. It now has a thick layer over the scratches and looks worse. Peeling continues and the floor looks worse than prior to his initial work. There is even dirt in spots under the finish. This will force me to have my floors repaired by another company as I have lost all confidence in his abilities and professionalism. I have reached out to him several times and he has stopped all communication with me in my hopes to come to a resolution. Due to the fees to hire someone to refinish my floors I am requesting a 50% (11,324.35) refund to cover the costs.
