    We needed to replace a damaged cement retaining wall. I called several companies for bids--2 of which wouldn't even come out to look at the job & another said he'd come out, but wanted me to know that the job would cost at least $22,000. ***** Davis did look at the job & gave a bid well undeer 22K. ***** gave me an estimate of when he would start the job, what would be invovled & the time it would take. Well...it took a little longer than expected because that old cement wall didn't want to come out. Its footer was several feet further down into the ground than expecrted & it didn't break apart easily, either. That meant more effort, more time & more material was involved. ***** never complained; he just worked hard & long and so did his crew with few breaks. They were respectful, friendly & skilled. Despite the extra *************** needed, the job turned out wonderfully...and still well under $22,000. I've already had several people comment on how sturdy the wall looks. It should--it is made of foundation blocks w/ rebar inserted & then filled with poured concrete. I highly recommend Davis *********************************** The owner, ******, not only produced an excellent product, but he was wonderful to work with.
