My medical insurance is a family plan with 4 family members covered on it. The family deductible is $3200.00 and the plan effective date was 7/1/2024. My son entered treatment at *** on 7/9/2025. I spoke to someone from ****** (a third party billing service for ***) to pay $500.00 up front and then agreed to monthly payments of $500.00 after that until the deductible was met. I discussed with them that the deductible may be met by my other family's medical services in the meantime because we are paying out of pocket to meet the deductible at other placed. They said to let them know when we reached the amount and they would stop billing us. We didn't get any charges through Finpay for a few months, but we were paying other doctors, therapist, prescriptions etc and the deductible was met by September 2024. I have all the **** to prove that. They charged me in December 2024 and I was able to discuss this with *** and they gave my money back and told me that I had no balance. I got charged again in January, I disputed this with **** and submitted my proof and I won the dispute and my money was returned again. I got charged AGAIN in February and disputed that one. ****** sent in the orignial agreement from July 2024 showing the original agreement, but nothing about how I had already met my deductible by July. I don't owe *** any money. I paid my $3200.00 out of pocket expenses and *** was paid in full by my insurance. They should not be charging me. I DO NOT owe them any more money.

I paid an admission copay to recovery centers of America for my son ******* Chess DOB ******** and was told that the cost would be prorated based on length of stay. I paid $2500 on 1/2/24 by credit card. He stayed less than 24 hours. I have attempted to contact recovery Centers of America on 8 occasions to attempt to discuss a partial refund of my admission copay (monthly since April and weekly in September). I have gotten no return calls or refunds. I have been unable to speak with anyone in person regarding my refund as I always get transferred to a recording despite asking to speak to a representative. This facility is preying on families of individuals with mental illness and addiction issues who are desperate to help their loved one.

My husband was a patient under the care of Recovery Centers of America, in their Monroeville facility in October 2023. I was required to pay 5,000 dollars to secure his treatment. Our private insurance subsequently paid 100% of the stay. Fort the last several months I have been contacting the RCA regarding the refund owed. As of this writing there has been no response regarding my request.

On 10/15/2022 I made a payment of $480 and signed a contract with fin pay for a total of $2711 . Monthly payments for 10 months. I was told they would help me detox from pain medication. The facility provided therapeutic services for pain management, yoga, open gym,art therapy, daily counseling. I did not receive any of those services.I was not properly detoxed. I was discharged still going through the detox process and was unable to get services as outpatient until Thursday. I'm 10 weeks pregnant so this is extremely stressful to my fetus. I never once was offered any therapy for pain management. There was no daily therapy offered,no art therapy, yoga or I was not able to go to the gym once. My discharge time was 11am. The director of nursing offered me help for the withdrawal Symptoms at 10 am for that day. Nothing else was addressed.
