      We hired ******************* in June, 2022, to repoint our chimney. The work was done in November, 2022. On 11/9/22 we wrote a check for $2,300. On 11/17/22 we wrote a check for $2,300 at the completion of the job. We requested **** provide pictures of the work, which we assumed would be for all four sides of the chimney. The first problem occurred a few days after the job, when we realized during a rain storm the gutters were completely packed with debris from the job. We have pictures of the mess. My husband cleaned out the gutters. In October 2023 we noticed a tree growing from the chimney. We had a company come in. This is when we found that the pictures **** provided only showed portions of the chimney visible from the street/yard. Drone pictures showed the shoddy work done on the chimney, including using plywood (which is now exposed) to build an (ineffective) chimney cap. I am now going to pay another company to basically do the job that I had paid ******************* to do in 2022. Quite honestly, all I want is for him to give us back our money - I won't care about the other damage done to our house. And I do have pictures to back up everything I said (****'s pictures of the "completed" job, pictures of the damage to gutters and roof, and pictures taken by the drone of the other company). And given the (lack of) quality of his work, I do not want him anywhere near my home to repair it. I attached 2 photos showing the "completed work", 1 showing damage to gutters, and one showing picture from drone. I have others but your size restriction prevents me from uploading them.

      These 2 show damage to gutters that we discovered after a heavy rain.  My husband carted out a wheel-barrel full of debris from that cleanup (can send a copy of the wheel-barrel if you need it).

      First 2 show what they gave us to show job completed in November, 2022.

      Next 3 are from drone taken by the people who put on our new roof in July, 2023.


      Last 2 are from the company we called to remove the tree from the chimney.  These were taken in May, 2024.
