I was introduced to Sound Advice Entertainment (SAE) in August 2021 as a woman-owned business, as knowledgeable advisors that can recommend the ideal entertainment options for large events. SAE was hired to provide lighting and sound services from 10am-10pm on July 30, 2022 at the Elk County Fairgrounds *** ***** ** ******* ** ****** Founder/Owner and Musician Jackie H***** outsourced services to GP Audio owner, George P****** On July 30th, the day of the event the technician Zach of GP Audio was sent to setup and was tasked to spend the entire 12 hours of the event onsite providing support and services.
Zach of GP Audio was on time and setup the equipment before the start of the event. However, Zach decided to leave the event in the 6 o'clock hour without seeking permission, direction or notifying the event organizer ******* *******) for approval. He also did not contact his business owner George Powell OR the contracting party Jackie H***** for any instructions or directions prior to packing up and leaving the event.
Post event, during discussions with Jackie, George, and Zach - what is NOT in dispute or debate is that:
Zach packed up and left early in the 6 o’clock hour. Zach saw ****** and slowed down but didn’t stop leaving the venue. Zach sought no verbal or written approval — either from ******, or Jackie, or George. ****** ******* was the only person in charge and primary host that contracted SAE and GP Audio and paid for the services. People showed up including a local senator to an empty stage for the 8p-10p portion of the event to no music, sound, lights and an empty main stage.

We requested a refund for 30% ($585) of the total amount paid because (a) we received only 8-out-of-12 hrs. of services; (b) no lights show on the stage was provided; and (c) not provided the rented musical instrument.
After much finger pointing in confusing directions and deliberations, Jackie refunded via Venmo only $270, on Aug 2nd, 2022 without any explanation or apology.
