Hi. I had Mid Atlantic waterproofing company install sump pumps in 2012 I believe not sure have to dig up contract to do a whole basement waterproofing with what they told me was a lifetime warranty transferred to new owner when I sold the house. If I had any problems they will come and repair etc. I flooded this week. No where to contact this company. Lines are out . Now I’m left with a false warranty and water in my basement. Now I had to call in plumbers etc and it’s costing me a lot of money to clean up and seems like these 2 pumps are broken. The electric and battery back up one. Dec 23 rd and I am not working due to a stoke now I have to deal with this. This company needs to be held accountable for the lifetime warranty they said they gave me. Now they are out of business and no accountability. Customers always get screwed

This is a complaint about Mid Atlantic waterproofing. Work was finished June 14, 2018. I have a seven year warranty and now water is leaking in again exactly in the same spot they were supposed to have stopped it. Also, sump pump is not working. and as far as I can understand, they are no longer in business.

I had a French drain and sump pump installed by Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing 10+ years ago. 8/15/2023 and 9/01/2021 I had significant water in my basement. The system came with a lifetime warranty which they honored one time shortly after installation. I now have an ineffective system and a company that to my knowledge is no longer in business. I am still hunting down actual contract but I uploaded what I have as well as picture from most recent flooding. The 2021 incident was submitted to insurance company.

I had a French drain & sump pump installed in my basement 5 years ago. The work itself was questionable as the workers broke a sewage drain from my bathroom during the install. Initially refusing to repair it, they made an attempt but I ended up having a plumber come in to do it properly. Then they installed the sump pump in an area without electric and ran an extension cord to power it. Having to remove a storage room door to run the extension cord. Finally the outside drain pipe was left pointed at & just a foot away from my neighbors porch Foundation. They did have someone come out to correct that after calling to complain. I now have water coming into the basement again and was attempting to contact the company regarding the lifetime warranty. Who is responsible for for this?? I paid the higher bid because of the lifetime transferable warranty and now it seems I’m screwed on that AND have to pay someone else to fix my current issue!

We had mid Atlantic waterproofing install a sump pump in our basement on July 29th 2017. We paid $5300. And have a lifetime transferable warranty. The sump pump has stopped working and we can not get it touch with anyone to repair it.
