I purchased 2 tickets to the *********************** concert at the Pavillion at Montage Mountain on 7/15/22. I carpooled with my brother and sister-in-law who also had tickets. We arrived to Montage Mountain at approx 6pm, 90 min prior to showtime. Concert traffic was diverted onto Glenmaura National Blvd where we inches in bumper to bumper concert traffic until 835. The concert started at 730. When we finally intersected with montage mountain road, police told us we could not go up to the parking lots but needed to return to the base of the mountain and walk the 2.5 miles to the concert or get back in the line of cars. We found out afterwards that there was insufficient parking, even for those who purchased a premium parking pass for $50. Apparently this is not a new thing. I would like a refund of my purchase price of $50 for my tickets since we were unable to attend the show. If Montage Mountain is aware of insufficient parking as is Scranton PA police dept, then Additional parking needs to be provided and/or shuttles to the venue. It is unreasonable to sell tickets you know you cannot accommodate and is fraudulent in my opinion. I have attempted to contact the pavilion at Montage Mountain multiple times over the weekend and today and the calls are unanswered. I feel they know this is an issue and are ignoring the problem, yet still taking our money for tickets.
