      In December 2022, we had a Viwinco sliding glass patio door installed by a local company. Shortly after installation we had a rain storm and had a large amount of water enter the door's track and not exit the door through the weep holes. We had the installer come out to look at the door and they wanted to have the manufacturer look at the door for a potential product defect. After months of waiting, we finally had a sales representative, ***********************, of Viwinco, out to look at the door on March 22, 2023. He immediately commented that the door was sagging in the middle of the track and believed that the door was installed correctly. Prior to ****** coming out to look at the door, he called me on March 15, 2023, and informed me that he wanted to run some tests on the door but wanted to drill extra weep holes in the new door, to "fix the problem". However, on March 22, 2023, after examining the door he informed me that he didn't want to install the new weep holes because it was an installation error and we would still have water sitting in the track. ****** left my residence without ever installing the new weep holes and informed me that he would reach out to the contractor to let them know it was an installation error. On May 9, 2023, my contractor returned to work on the door and I was presented with an email from ****** where he informed the contractor (on May 8, 2023) that the door was operating as intended and never once stated that there was an installation problem. In fact, ****** shared that the addition of the new weep holes (which are created by drilling holes in a new door) will fix the problem, contrary to his statements and actions on March 22, 2023. By ******** own written statements, there is no installation problem with the door, therefore if the door is holding water and not draining the product is defective. I am requesting a refund and I have made several attempts to contact them but I have been ignored and my emails have gone unanswered.
