    I was charged $360 + tax for a carbon monoxide detector. They cost around $20. They didn't even install it.

    Had seven technicians in my home last summer for the same issue on our central AC (a Trane system installed in 2011 and serviced by Oliver) when it kept shutting down. By late August, they made a "temporary fix" while awaiting for a part from *****. Finally this spring, the part, never having come, they replaced the air handler and coil (or so they said). So today (8/10/24) system dies, Oliver sends a tech, and three hours later, the system dies again. Now, with a service contract still in hand, must wait for a call back tomorrow to have another visit.Do yourself a favor, and avoid Oliver. There are other, better HVAC contractors available. As for us, we will be contacting one of them shortly, while also contacting an attorney to get the thousands of dollars we gave Oliver in 2021 BACK.     I have been with Oliver since they put the new heater/air conditioner in in 2015. Every year we paid for a service contract about $190 a year. Just was informed by Oliver that the NEW service contract will be over $300 a year? I asked about a less expensive contract and I was told it is either $300+ or nothing. Currently shopping service contracts with competitors. Oliver is getting too big and they don't really care about customers who have been with them a long time. Good technicians, but greed will hurt them eventually.

    Oliver is not what it used to be when it comes to Oil Heater Customers. Without adequate notice, Oliver is no longer offering annual Maintenance Contracts to Oil Heater Customers. We can no longer get 24 hour Maintenance Service and are being asked to pay $300 for the annual Cleaning. I think this Company has gone off the rails when it comes to Customer Service and an Oliver Technician will never walk through my door again. 3/12/2024 Joey B

    Rip off! Their policy is to mention extra charges, but not specifically an “analysis” fee of $188 on top of the $89 arrival fee (I was aware of the $89 fee). Not to mention sky high estimate no one in their right mind would pay for a toilet flapper replacement and spigot repair. They advertise doing “small” jobs which leads the customer to believe their pricing would be in line with “small” jobs. You either agree to a work estimate of $1300+ or $277 for nothing. The minute they walk through the door you are hooked. I will leave one star because the technicians were good.

    On June 20, 2022, the Oliver team of Dan and Dave arrived at 8 a.m. sharp to clean all of the ducts in my two-story townhouse. I had put this off for several years, then decided to move forward with Oliver Heating & Cooling. They were polite, professional, and very skilled in their job, including all the prep work. They cleaned up the whole area and no one would have guessed that I had the ducts cleaned unless they saw the Oliver vehicles out front! I can notice the difference since and am delighted also with the new heater and air conditioner units installed by a different team of Oliver pros on June 29th. They excxel at plumbing and elecrical work, too!

    The team of Dyllon, Walt/John were here on June 29, 2022 installing my new Trane heater and AC. They were professional, polite, and worked as a team to remove the old equipment and install the new. Their level of competency was evident in every step they took. They explained the details of the job upon completion of the work and left my home as clean as when they arrived 7:15 a.m. I have been an Oliver customer for almost 35 years, and the quality and expertise of their staff is what keeps me coming back. We work together to accomplish the best job you'll get anywhere.
