On 3-31-2021 I contracted with Poltrock Painting to have the inside of my home painted as outlined in the contract attached. I received a 30% discount by agreeing to push the work off until the late fall/winter timeframe. Contract amount with discount is $5250. Rob P******* requested a down payment of $1450 which I gave him on the same day. On 8-21-2021 Rob P******* requested additional money for the purchase of supplies to be dropped off at my home. I gave an additional $1600 for a total of $3050 or 58% of the project as of 8-21. No supplies were dropped off at my home. After numerous delays, promises and excuses work began on 4-25-2022. On 5-10-2022 at the suggestion of Rob P******* we agreed to install wood boards to the living room ceiling instead of scraping and painting it. An agreement for an additional $4200 was made bringing the overall project total to $9450 and remaining project amount to $6400. I gave Rob P******* an additional $3400 on 5-10-2022 bringing the total paid to date to Poltrock Painting to $6450 or 68% of the project. The wood boards were installed several weeks later with no painting or additional work done in the interim. On 6-17-2022 while the boards were being worked on Rob P******* requested additional money which was denied. At this point rooms started were not completed and other rooms were never started at all. Poltrock Paintings last day worked in my home was 6-17-2022. Rob P******* continued to make numerous attempts to collect additional money to complete the project. I have attempted several times via email to rectify this situation with Poltrock Painting requesting a refund of $2845.38 for work not completed and credits not received. My latest email sent on 8-19-2021 was ignored by Rob P*******. I am seeking a refund for the amount noted above and am including files of our agreements and a file providing timelines and details of the refund I am requesting. Thank you.
