I purchased Hurricane Impact Windows from a dealer of theirs who is no longer servicing their accounts, but was at the time I purchased my windows. The installation was for 4 windows, all 4 installed, but one was cracked on the outside, the thick hurricane pane, out of the box. It was installed and I was advised I would receive the replacement for that one. We got hit by hurricane Ian in Sept 22, and the panel crack went all the way across during the storm. The company that was the Retailer, ***** ******, was in Ft. Myers FL where they got hit hard, and they were not able to be reached by phone. Then I get a letter stating they are in bankruptcy. They don't owe me money, but the Manufacturer is Regency Plus, and they owe me a non broken replacement window, along with the installation. It is a warranty claim, possibly a shipping damage claim for Regency Plus. Either way they claim they honor their warranty on their product on their website. I contacted them and they referred me to the owner of ***** ******, who is in bankruptcy. My hurricane deductible is over $4200, and this won't get covered by that, and it wasn't storm damage. It was broken upon delivery.

      Dear *****************************,

In reference to the above referenced complaint, our company, Regency Plus Inc, sold and distributed windows to ******************** LLC, in Ft Myers Florida.  ******************** has a relationship and warranty with the customer listed and not our company.  It is correct ******************** have filed for bankruptcy.  Our legal counsel is dealing with the said bankruptcy from our position and also advised our company we cannot do anything for any ***** ****** customers until the bankruptcy process is fully completed and executed.  Once we are formally informed this is done, we will try to help any ***** ****** customer from a goodwill standpoint but to be very clear, we have no warranty obligations with this customer and it resides back with ************ windows.

My window was shipping damage, not warranty. And if I buy a car from a dealership that goes our if business, it always goes back to the manufacturer! What kind of manufacturing business makes a product,  ships it, and denies the customer/end user a replacement? Thus has nothing to do with their bankruptcy, it was damaged in transit. When they opened the box you shipped it in, it was cracked. They didn't Crack it and neither did the wind, so this is not a warranty issue! I want the window you were paid to ship, not the damaged one that arrived from your facilty.
