The bus company is ignorant and nasty they come way too earlier or very late . They call you and get nasty with you, and don't like to get it back . They don't stop at all I they don't see a kids at the stop , and they should wait at least 3 mins like every other bus company in PA. The bus drivers are ignorant yelling and screaming at certain children when all are talking and singing and whistling. The bus garage won't do anything about it. The6 drive too fast they always bash the kids heads or faces off the windows turning or taking a bend . I have tried numerous times to talk to the bus garbage and send q note that asked politely to nit have them three to a seat for they are squooshed and to please make easier turns. I just get ignored and told well we don't wait with big busses and your kids need down there I live on q very busy road that is a bend at the bottom of q hill and people drive way too fast and off the sides and my kids won't be standing out side for 20 mins or more because the bus driver wants to mess around cause they don't like me and my children get hurt or killed by a vehicle there is a big end at the bottom of my drive way that the bus can pull into of she wants to say she can't wait cause to many people even though they sit and watse gas in between qnd getting food going out of way . All I want is for the children to be tre a Ted with respect and the parents from the bus garbage people and drivers . This morning Jan. 9th 2023 I called because the bus driver drove right past and the guy says we have several other complaints this morning and that the kids need to be at the stop . They are to be picked up at 7:47 ,I wonder why I should have them there 5 mins ahead of time and 10 mins after to wait that's not right at all qnd my children won't freeze,be wet, roast waiting on a bis driver and company that can't and won't do there job . When school started they made nasty calls qnd the lady told me to get out side,my 1st grader can get off by herself

In regards to the complaint made on January 9th, 2023, for public school bus routes, DMJ provides a roughly 10 minute window for pick up/drop off times. Depending on weather, traffic, student attendance, etc. times cannot be the same daily. The PA Department of Transportation advises all parents to have their students at the bus stop five minutes early for safety reasons.

All DMJ vehicles are equipped with GPS software that tracks driver's safety. Things like speeding and harsh braking are tracked through GPS. This provides a driver safety score, which is constantly viewed and addressed by management.

If a parent feels that their assigned bus stop is unsafe, DMJ has a change of stop request form available for them to complete. DMJ employs a retired PA State Police Officer as the Safety Coordinator, who will then go to the stop to evaluate the safety of the stop.

Due to school district policy, DMJ is unable to drop off students aged first grade and younger without a parent or guardian present at the bus stop to retrieve the student. DMJ's priority is safety. Any safety related complaint received is addressed immediately. Each bus as several cameras which are pulled for review for each complaint.
