      I began a weight loss program with BeBalanced, Wexford, PA (10339 Perry Hwy.) I have been working with Trudy R****, employee. I have been doing the program for 30 days. Initially, as part of the program, I was going to participate in the their "Hormone Balancing Creams" in Phase II. However, per my doctors advice, I told Trudy, that I was not going to participate in this part of the plan, and I would like a refund of my $239.00 for the creams, and that I would return the creams. Today, Trudy told me the owner will not take the creams back, and give me a refund. Per Trudy, she said these creams were a prescription for me. Which is not true. These creams are given to anyone in the program who wants them. I was upfront with Trudy and BeBalanced in my assessment and initial meeting about health conditions I have and medications I am on. At the time, Trudy said that BeBalanced likes you to get off of your medications, and only take their supplements and creams. I am already on a hormone cream and Thyroid medication. Per Trudy, the BeBalanced creams do not have an ingredient list given to customers. Though according to Kate K******** owner, these creams aid with cortisol and insulin levels, and allows your Progesterone to stay at its optimal levels. Trudy kept asking me why my doctor doesn't want me to use the creams. I have told her that is HIPPA, and I do not have to disclose any more of my medical information than I already have. These creams are not mandatory to take, only suggested by BeBalanced. I have paid a lot of money for this program. Initially, I just wanted my $239.00 refunded. Now, I am asking for a PRORATED refund of the $841.15. After speaking to Trudy today, it was not a very pleasant conversation, and I now have no desire to work with BeBalanced after being treated the way I have been, or be on their program any longer. I would like a REFUND of my $239.00 for the creams, and a PRORATED REFUND of the $841.15.

      Today I received a refund from BeBalanced for the creams ($239.00).  I mailed them back to BeBalanced on Saturday, and they received them today.

      I still have asked for a pro-rated refund of the $841.00 for the inability to finish out the program.  The owner, Kate K******** emailed me today, and asked to speak to me.  I have told her I am available to talk Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday @ 4p.m. or after this week.
