    We called ************** to make an estimate for a roof over the deck that he built himself and he gave us an estimate of 10,000 dollars. He gave me a piece of paper with the name of the company that he represents and wrote down all the materials that he was going to use. but he never gave me a plan of what he was going to build picture anything that gave me an idea of what the roof was going to look like I trusted him because he did work for me before so I gave him the $5000 and waited for 2 weeks calling him Several time before canceling. I got scared because the roof was going to be attached to my home. I called him 2 weeks after the proposal was made and told him I wanted to cancel he said that there was no problem, after several calls he kept telling on Saturday 2 Saturday passed and he did not want to return the money. I asked him to give me an address where I could pick up the check that I understand he was busy and he sent me to a place where he was working and he told me that he was going to take away $500 that he was only going to return $4,500. I asked him if the proposal or receipt stipulated paying a fine for canceling it and he told me no, he decided to take the money because I canceled . The work never started and the date to start was never given I feel that he stole 500 dollars.

    I never got a plan or anything to explain what he was going to do flat roof attached to the home and I wanted a pitch roof he was going to attach it to the deck I wanted off the deck that is why I kept asking for a plan or some kind of picture and he never send one all he did was scrabble the amount 10,000 instead of 9,200 to 9,300. He was not sure of what he was doing.

    Transaction 2-28-2023 Paid $4,900.00 Balance $10,000.00 Problem 1. Wrong product installed- Installed smooth metal raised ridge roof was to be textured.2. Wrong color product installed- installed white drip edge but removed tan from my home. 3. In pictures- shingle to metal roof not quality work. Bent drip edge sticking out, reused bent flashing and not cut to fit new transition, broke multiple area of siding (including j-track and hole in bump out).
