False advertising. The company claimed unlimited subaccounts and feature parity for Go High Level for $97 per month. In reality, you had to pay $122 to get started (red flag number 1), then sub-accounts required an additional $25 per month.

    Business Response

    Date: 06/12/2025

Thank you for the opportunity to respond. We fully deny any allegation of false advertising. Our $97/month plan does include unlimited subaccount creation, as stated in all our marketing materials and FAQs. We are upfront that there is a one-time onboarding/setup fee at sign-up, which, combined with the first month, totals $122. This is shown clearly before purchase and is standard in our industry. The $25 per subaccount fee is also clearly disclosed in our FAQ and onboarding documentation before any payment is made. We provide all the core features we advertise for Go High Level parity at the listed price, and any optional add-ons or advanced services are always transparently priced. There are no hidden fees or misleading claims; all pricing is fully disclosed prior to purchase, and the complainant was never charged for anything not agreed to in advance. Our practices meet or exceed industry standards, and our pricing is highly competitive. We are always available to clarify any genuine misunderstandings. We respectfully request that this complaint be closed as resolved, as no false advertising or deceptive practices occurred.

     Complaint: 23449813

I am rejecting this response because:

The resources that the company allege to clearly outline the offer are not actually readily available through their purchase path.

Per Elite Marketing Authority's ******** ad they were offering a subscription to highlevel with all of the features that are included in highlevel's 497 a month plan for 97/mo. Upon purchasing and entering the platform, I quickly noticed that all of the features were not there. Many were cut out, no ability to connect my own domain or customize the design. Additionally for all sub accounts I would have to email the admin, and I would not be able to create them directly. I attempted to contact the owner immediately and request a refund to which they replied saying there was nothing they could do and that it was against their terms of service. While paying I was never once prompted with their terms of service. Upon inspecting the terms, many would be found to go against consumer protection laws in the state of ************ where the business is established. And directly attempt to coerce my from using my rights protected by me under the ****.

    Business Response

    Date: 02/17/2025

    To Whom It May Concern,
I am responding to the complaint submitted by ******* ***** regarding his purchase from Elite Marketing Authority.
    Service Nature and Client Agreement:
Mr. ***** purchased a $97/month subscription for access to HighLevel + UpHex + *********** under our platform. His claim that this included all features from GoHighLevels $497/month plan is inaccurate and a misrepresentation of our offer.
Our marketing and sales materials clearly state what is included in the $97/month plan, and at no point did we advertise that it includes the full $497/month HighLevel subscription.
Custom features like custom domains, branding, and full account control were never advertised as included.
Terms of Service were available at checkout and in email confirmationshis claim that he was never presented with them is false.
    Contradictions and False Claims:
Mr. ***** claims he was never shown our Terms of Service.
This is false. Our Terms and Conditions are publicly available here and were provided before purchase.
He states there was Zero Contract, yet he knowingly agreed to our payment terms before subscribing.
He falsely claims he never contacted any other agencies, yet he filed this BBB complaint and even sent us images of our business listed on the Attorney Generals site, clearly showing intent to escalate the matter beyond our internal resolution process.
He has threatened us multiple times in writing, stating:
"Is $97 that important to you?"
Sending images of our business on the Attorney Generals site as an intimidation tactic.
Threatening chargebacks and negative reviews if we did not refund him.
This behavior is not an attempt at fair resolutionit is a coordinated effort to pressure us into providing an unwarranted refund.
    Refund Policy and Dispute Tactics:
Mr. ***** demanded a refund immediately after subscribing, despite our clear no-refunds policy, which he agreed to upon purchase.
The $97/month subscription grants immediate access, and he was free to cancel at any time under our satisfaction guarantee.
However, requesting a refund after using the service violates our Terms.
Threatening chargebacks and negative reviews to force a refund is a clear bad-faith tactic.
    Baseless Legal Threats:
Mr. ***** cited the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law (UTPCPL) and the Fair Credit Billing Act (****) in his complaint. These do not apply in this situation:
The UTPCPL only applies to deceptive business practices, which do not exist herehe received exactly what was advertised.
The FCBA protects against billing errors, not buyers remorsehis purchase was authorized and fulfilled exactly as described.
    Pattern of Harassment and Intimidation:
Since his refund request was denied, Mr. ***** has:
Threatened chargebacks and negative reviews if we did not comply.
Sent images of our business listing on government sites to intimidate us.
Falsely claimed he never saw the Terms of Service despite them being available.
Contradicted himself by saying he never contacted agencies, while filing this BBB complaint.
    Conclusion:
Elite Marketing Authority has followed all stated policies and Mr. ****** complaint is based on false claims, misrepresentations, and intimidation tactics.
No refund will be issued, as our policies were clear and agreed to upon purchase.
Mr. ***** was free to cancel at any time, but attempting to force a refund through intimidation is unacceptable.
We request that this complaint be dismissed as unfounded and retaliatory.
We appreciate the BBBs consideration of the facts.
    Sincerely,
    **** M. *******

     Complaint: 22893715

I am rejecting this response because:
It is within my right to file complaints when a seller is misleading in marketing and not providing terms of service prior to purchase which is evident here.

The information on their business is public and I am well within my rights to screenshot it and send it to them.

This is not intimidation, the seller misleads consumers and when confronted does not issue refunds. And then in return attempts to spin it on the customer.

you cannot say that this replaces HighLevels $497/ mo plan and saves me $497 a month when it is missing features.

    Regards,

Response to ****************** Terms and Harassment Documentation

    To Whom It May Concern,

I am responding to the complaint submitted by Mr. ***** ****** regarding his purchase from Elite Marketing Authority.

    Service Nature and Client Agreement:
Mr. ****** purchased access to our digital marketing solutions and CRM tools, which are designed for clients to implement independently. The service he selected is not a "done-for-you" package, and this is clearly outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

During onboarding, he explicitly declined the optional setup assistance.
Despite this, he later demanded extensive free work that was not included in his package.
When I reminded him of the service scope, he ignored the terms and insisted on additional services without payment.
Misrepresentation of Services & Bad-Faith *********************** our conversations, Mr. ****** repeatedly disregarded the terms he agreed to and refused to acknowledge the nature of his purchase.

I offered to upload a snapshot as a courtesy, but upon learning it was a medical snapshot, I asked if he still wanted it. He declined.
He later complained about not receiving the very service he rejected.
His approach was not about resolving an issue, but about forcing additional free work beyond what was agreed upon.

    Refund Policy and Manipulative Tactics:
Our no-refunds policy is explicitly stated in our Terms and Conditions, which Mr. ****** agreed to at the time of purchase.

He was sent these terms multiple times and continued to ignore them.
His response: "I have never seen a contract I couldn't get out of."
He initiated a payment dispute despite agreeing to the terms, showing clear intent to force an unwarranted refund.
    Satisfaction Guarantee and Cancellation Terms:
We offer a satisfaction guarantee that allows clients to cancel at any time, as stated in our Terms and Conditions. This does not include refunds for payments already made. Mr. ****** had the option to cancel his subscription at any time but instead attempted to bypass the policy.

    Harassment and False Complaints:
Since our interactions, Mr. ****** has escalated his actions into harassment, including:

Repeatedly disputing a payment he agreed to.
Ignoring the refund policy and attempting to pressure a refund through threats.
Filing false complaints with the BBB and other platforms in an attempt to damage our reputation.
Threatening to leave bad reviews when his demands were not met.
This pattern of behavior is clearly an attempt to manipulate our policies and circumvent the agreement he willingly entered into.

    Conclusion:
Elite Marketing Authority has followed all stated policies and even extended additional courtesy support beyond what was required. We believe this response provides full clarity on the matter and demonstrates our commitment to transparency, fairness, and professionalism.

    Sincerely,
    **** M. *******
