I enrolled my 9 year old son in camp Tech Revolution run by Lavner Education for a period of 5 days (from 6/10/24 through 6/14/24). However, I withdrew him yesterday for the following reasons:Camp advertises as being rigorous for STEM. However, the children were given a toy marble run set to play with on their first day and asked to build a roller coaster. The instructors are not experienced educators. This showed in their lack of enthusiasm which my son shared with me.They advertised a camp t-shirt but none was given. They require you to pay $55 for a cafeteria lunch but why? Most camps Ive seen let the kids bring their own.I spoke to 2 representatives yesterday who told me the next day would be spent building a roller coaster on Roblox. For a camp charging $800 a week, this is not acceptable. The children should have experienced educators with a building kit for each child and a STEM ****** with direction and guidance.I urge you to look at their reviews on Yelp. This is a site where reviews cannot be removed by the company. You will see so many stories like mine. Unfortunately, I discovered this after the fact. I told them and they said to look at reviews on Trustpilot. But this is a review site that allows removal by them and customer vetting.I also have my other older son enrolled for a week in July. I asked to at least be refunded for that one camp and they refused as well. Please look into this company because what they are offering is not an engaging STEM camp. It is truly misleading.Parents think their children will be attending a challenging STEM program, but the result is similar to a daycare. Thank you,*******************************

    Hi ********,

It was very nice speaking with you on the phone earlier this afternoon.  Again, I truly appreciate your time and all of your valuable feedback and insight about *****' day at camp on June 10th.  I've logged into your online account and have processed the full refund for both ***** and ******' camp weeks this summer and have attached the updated receipt for your reference.  If either ***** or ****** are interested in returning this summer, please let me know and I'd be happy to help you enroll them as I just want the boys to have an amazing educational experience with us.

I'm also having our team pull t-shirts for both ***** and ****** and I'll mail them out to the address on file, which I've listed below and you said is the best address to send them to you.  I'm going to take them to the post office tomorrow morning so they should hopefully arrive at your house over the next few days.

I have *****' t-shirt size as youth extra small and ******' t-shirt size as youth large.

    ********************************************************************************

Again, thank you for your time and thoughtful conversation earlier.  I wish you all an amazing summer and year ahead!  Please feel free to reach out to me at any time via email or phone (you have my cell now).

Have a great rest of your day.

    Sincerely,

    *******
