      In it for the money. Terrible management at local property level. They won't even give contact information for the manager. Fees to write a check, fees to use a debit card, fees to use a money order. Their own software for paying rent is unreliable and when it fails, more fees for the renter. My daughter is paying fees to stop payment to the bank for a $4000 glitch in payment software, and now a fee from the property management for stopping the payment. Despite paying her rent on time utilizing their "go to Walmart for a payment voucher" system. All that and "no one" will communicate with her. Same company that charged them a fee twice for not having renter's insurance when she already had an insurance plan paid for on her contract. Somehow, it was her responsibility to prove it to the property owner. Ridiculous.

      Tell me why doesn't this management Company tell you who the owner is if it's a man or woman or couple running this Whittier place complex? Everything goes through the rental manager at all times, kind of fishy to me and other tenants that reside here , owner DOESN'T work with None of his tenants Stays running you to court if your 5 days and 16 days late both times your hit with court fees ,& late fees No wonder he or she is loosing tenants times are hard for EVERYONE and this owner doesn't work with no tenants just money hungry people, no good luck comes to greedy owners or Anyone that take from others or not work with your TENANTS. WE DON'T KNOW WHO THE OWNER IS OR NAME. ALL WE HAVE IS WHITTIER HOLDING LLC. All I can say is you need to change your ways how you deal with tenants and not be so greedy on running them to court all the dam time. I don't know what kind of situation you were ever in that you have to treat your tenants in this matter but it doesn't look good for you

      Posting on behalf of another tenant but this place has roaches and they won’t even send anyone regularly to address the issue. Stuff has fallen apart within months of them moving in and they don’t even want to help you figure out stuff you’d pay out of pocket for. Until they do right by ALL of their tenants stay clear. Updating to share that there are now ants out of nowhere and still no maintenance. There’s still roaches and now they’re telling people they’re gonna shut the water off and they don’t know for how long so just go buy water and take a shower the night before. They’re disgusting.

      You don’t need to verify me because as I stated above this is for another tenant and a couple new ones who have also lodged complaints with the health department because of this. You retaliate against tenants who speak up and refuse to do right but the predominantly POC neighborhood you’re in.

      This company is very unprofessional and discriminatory! Helen is the property manager and she is very disorganized. She gave us the run around about a time to tour a place, missed the first viewing( said she was there but was not) and also told us the property was rented without ever responding to the $50 a piece application. She also said the “patriotic discount” was longer available to new tenants, but it has been advertised and is still advertised on the listing.

      In October of 2022 we had downstairs neighbors at Kingston Cove Apartments that caused us to not be able to get full usage of our dwelling. They had multiple tenants living in that apartment that were dangerous which resulted in multiple police reports being filed. One of the tenants was severely disabled and they allowed her to sit in her own feces until an ambulance removed her after months of laying there and wellness checks being called in. They also had multiple dogs that were never taken outside. All of these factors contributed to the horrific smell that prohibited us from using our dwelling effectively. I reached out multiple times to the office at Kingston Cove from 10/22-1/23 about these complaints and never received a response until January of 2023 about the tenants being evicted. After they were evicted, contractors advised that there was a cooler full of feces in the closet below our bedroom and the apartment had to be completely gutted with all new appliances, cabinets, carpet etc. It is June and we are still getting treated for cockroaches from them. I requested a credit for all of the trouble we endured along with the health hazards and safety hazards in which I did not receive a response for 2 months on and we were given $50 for 3 MONTHS of trouble. Not only has Kingston Cove and its Regional Manager failed to take care of its tenants but it has expressed that they do not care for their tenants wellbeing either.
