Covid hit around the time I had the carpet installed, that is why I didnt file a claim sooner. To the best of my knowledge the flooring was installed on 8/14/20. I paid $3400 for the flooring. I tried several times to call and send text messages to Martinez and he kept saying he would contact the sales rep( see text messages). I was told that the carpet was new but was told by another flooring company that it is new old stock. I have carpet depressions under bedroom doors seams coming apart in our master bedroom and carpet folds. I am looking for a resolution to the problems with the installation.

    *******,

When is the last date you received a communication from the Business?
When were you told by another flooring company that is new old stock?

My last phone call to him was 11/15/22 and my last text message to him was 11/25/22. I have no date on a phone conversation with him because he never answered the phone call. His last response to me via text message was 11/15/22 as well. I sent you the correspondence via text message, did you receive it. It has the date and our correspondence listed. On 9/11/20 I took remnants from the carpet installation to *******s Flooring to have runners made. I took them home and they were in great condition. Shortly after that corvid hit and the runners started to fold, I started having depressions under door ways and I have a huge seam showing in our Master bedroom that he seamed together. I am not sure of the date that I contacted *******s flooring to inquire about why the carpet runners started to fold and they told me it looked like new old stock. I would like to take a sample of the carpet and get it dated to see when it was made if possible. That would give me prove of what they told me. All I want is the Depressions in the carpet and the seam corrected. He told me several times he was going to contact the carpet rep but never did. Why wound he not at leaset try to confirm if the carpet was indeed new or old new stock? If you need any additional information please let me know. Thank you

******************* wrote, Do you know how old or long the carpet you installed was in the warehouse? I ask because the carpet remnants we had made into runners started to crease or fold. I took them back to ********* Carpet who did the binding and they told me that the carpet was old and the nylon backing is breaking down. They put some kind of carpet tape on the back where the carpet is folded and it looks pretty good again. I am worried about the carpet installation in each room and hope we don't notice similar folding. So far I don't notice any problems.

Martinez Flooring reply, Send me picture

******************* reply, I sent him four pictures.

******************* wrote, Did you contact the carpet rep yet? I have a message from you telling me that you were going to contact them and the date is from November 2020, two years ago. I told you I would like an rep to check the carpet if you don't have the time to call him give me his number and I will. Some of the issues are related to installation, the seam issue in our bedroom and the depression underneath two doors are not from old carpet. Either you or the carpet rep need to come here and check the carpet out. After I recover from my surgery I will seek legal advice.
