I am not sure of the date at this time, but it was late May, I am reaching out to you from work. I can provide you with that information at a later date. I had hired John the owner of King David Construction to lay hardwood floor in my living room and dinning room. I was to purchase the floor and molding of which I did. They came in and tore up the rug prior to laying the hardwood. The cost was $3000.00 just to lay the floor( I paid for the flooring and molding as stated earlier) Him and his crew came and completed the floors in two days. However, within two days I noticed that the floor was not laying between the living room and dinning room. When you walk over it has like air pockets that are raised and buckled.. I have reached out to John several times saying his was coming out to fix the floor. We set up dates and times to have this completed with him not showing up for any of the scheduled dates or times. He stated that he guarantees his work so I requesting that he stand by his guarantee.

Issues: Faulty Workmanship and Negligence We entered into a contract with King David Construction to have our bathroom remodeled and upgraded. Remove existing tub and shower walls Remove right side wall of shower pipe enclosure All plumbing removed Drain and pressure lines moved to accommodate new walk-in shower, distance of four (4) feet in all Level the floor and replace flooring Toilet removed and new wax ring added when replaced Entire floor covered with vinyl (linoleum) Install walk in shower with new wall (back) to accommodate new shower Include new shower chair Install medicine cabinet and 2 lights at the sides Full painting of the bathroom—2 coats as needed White quarter round added at base of walls Install three (3) handicap bars Total of $6,400.00 ($4,480 in advance) - $100 he returned to us (for painting the ceiling of the bathroom. I told him we were not charged for that originally as he was not engaged to paint the ceiling; however, he gave it to me anyway.) Contract agreed upon 3/19/2022 and updated 3/28/2022 Work was to commence 3/24/2022 (Thursday). After no one showed up to work, I was able to reach John S******** who said they could not begin work because the shower they intended to install was unavailable until Monday (3/28/2022). [Please note that they brought the shower installation on Monday 3/28/22, however, they did not even unbox it until a few days later.] The team, along with John S********, worked every day for several hours, arriving anywhere between 9:30 am and 11:30 am and leaving anywhere between 4:30 pm and 7:00 pm Monday through Saturday, March 28—April 2, 2022. In good faith that they would complete the work on April 6 or 7, we paid the balance of our bill the evening of April 5, 2022. Wednesday, April 6th, the whole crew left (with all of their supplies, tools, and our paint) saying that they were going to lunch. They did not return. (The paint was later returned to us after our new contractor asked for it.) Thursday, Apri
