10/03/2023 I became a guest at Super 8 on 9/30/23 I paid until 10/3/2023. On the afternoon of 10/03/2023 I went to front desk to pay ahead until 10/06/2023. The employee stated I was no longer allowed to rent a room because I had a balance from a previous hotel (information falsely provided by previous hotel). She also stated she was told I had cats (false information). I informed her that the information she is referring to was confidential and currently my attorney said not to comment. I asked her to call Wilma her GM. If she actually called I’m unsure, but I was permitted to pay with a check out of 10/06/23. On 10/04/23 Housekeeping repeatedly pounded on the door yelling they were coming in per hotel policy. I was asleep and told them so and told them I needed no towels, that I was fine. Within the hour my phone rang and it was Wilma the GM for Super 8. She told me per hotel policy, that after 3 days housekeepers were to come in and inspect room. I’m in housekeeping and I know this is false and I had my do not disturb sign on my door! I told Wilma that I was sleeping and having a horrible time right now and my room did not need a refresh. She began to yell at me, stating stop the cry baby shit, she didn’t give a rats ass about me or my day and they were coming in! Mind you myself and my 2 children are suffering a crisis in housing and I am suffering mentally from the chaos and no place to call home. The information that Wilma is receiving is hearsay from another GM at another hotel nearby! None of which is true and this person is harassing myself, my children, family, friends and my place of employment. Which I am currently seeking legal advice. My issue is the way my children and I are being treated! We are afraid to leave the room, someone keeps trying to get in and most importantly as a GM she should be trained on handling situations with the utmost respect and treating a guest with dignity and respect! Wilma absolutely crossed the line!
