    We have tried to resolve this case with the customer by offering to send his fully working product back to him.  He sent  it in claiming that it did not work, but when we received it the unit was working.  The unit  has been in our office in working condition, and we have attempted to encourage him to allow us to return it and try to learn to use it properly. In addition, we have offered to start over by giving him a new device which he unfortunately refused.
            
             UltraVoice Plus II, the product in question, is a custom built speaking device for laryngectomy patients who have had cancer of the larynx and subsequent removal of their voice box.  This renders them unable to talk without some form of device.  Our product is the latest technology that uses a miniature radio built into an upper denture creating a natural and more understandable speaking voice.  Each unit is handcrafted into a custom made denture, which the company provides, and can't be used by another patient because dentures are not transferable from one person to another.

            ************************ has asked for a payment of $15,000 to be returned to him claiming that he paid it. His insurance company, Humana, only paid us $4300.

            To document our assertions I have attached a scanned document in pdf form that shows the Human remittance page, our acceptance page and the previous email to us from ************************ demonstrating our attempts to return a fully working unit to him.

    I am rejecting this response because: they broke many times  they dont fit well  and never worked right . I think they are  junk  and they didnt offer to send them back I got a call. That they wanted my. New insurance before they would send them back   And why would I want to  start all over  when they did work right the first time .

    The complainant has lied with regard to the insurance payments and with regard to our efforts to satisfy him with regard to our attempts to fix or replace his device without charge.  Normally the Company is reimbursed by insurance for repairs but he was not charged for his.  Let him provide an invoice to verify his claims.
