This was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor in my life. I hired this person in December to do a complete remodel on my basement. The day after he finished my heat went out. This was the middle of January and it was a snow storm. I had to get **** out on an emergency call and I was still without heat for 3 days. It turns out that ***** covered my heater. The **** guys couldn't believe it. They said a heater could not be covered like that because it couldn't get oxygen. They told me it would never pass any type of inspection and could not believe a contractor would do this. 2 days after that I noticed a leak down there so I had to call a plumber. It turns out that ***** drilled a hole in a pipe while putting up the baseboards. It cost me over $700 to fix and of course they had to pull things apart to fix it. Same with the **** guys. That cost over $600. I told ***** about this and he said he would cut me a check and fix what had to be torn apart. This was mid January. By February I still hadn't heard anything from him so I sent him a few texts and called a few times. He did not respond and I finally had to use someone else's phone to contact him. More excuses, more lies. Now it's mid April and still nothing. I try calling and texting again. Nothing. Finally I told him that I would come to him and pick up the money with my brother. He didn't like that. He finally called and just started screaming at me...cursing. He was foul. I was stunned. I was fed up but had never been anything less than polite to him. I recently lost both my son and husband. ***** knew this and I can guarantee he would never pull that if he would have had to answer to a man. He screamed and cursed me out because he could. He's an incompetent bully who does not stand behind his work. This guy is dirty. Steer clear.Dombrowski Home Improvements, LLC

****, Let's add a little context to your story. It is a fact that the heat went out, and you had $1300 in invoices from two different companies to remedy the situation. Once these problems were taken care of, we had a discussion about replacing your basement window. I said I would gladly deduct the repairs from the charge for the window. You followed up with me at the end of February about the window, and I stated it takes at least 6 to 8 weeks for the window to be available from the date of order. At this point there was no promise of me reimbursing you the $1300 by writing a check. Now that takes us to this past week. I received a text from you, stating that you were convinced that I did not want to do the repairs. I did not respond to you that day because of the aggravation I have been dealing with in my private life and did not want the conversation to go in the wrong direction. The following day, I receive four different attempts at a phone call to my phone number within a 3 to 4 hour timeframe. The fourth time you called, I was on the phone with my credit card company dealing with a case of fraud. I have been on the phone with them for over 3 1/2 hours that day and wasn't able to answer any of your other phone calls. At this point, my temper was already up, and when I answered the phone, yes, I did let you have it. At that point, I replied back to your text and said since you are convinced that I'm not gonna do the work, I will just leave it that way. You then replied back, you wanted to pick up a check at your convenience. I replied I will cut you a check and deliver it to your house. Immediately you texted back what time? You followed up again with "I need a time" I replied back to you that I will cut a check when I get home home being that I was still working. From there, I cut you a check for the proper amount owed for the repairs to your heating system and dropped it off at your house, which you cashed the following day. In our follow up correspondence, I also extended the offer to do the repairs to the basement that we needed to get it back to its original state. You did not reply back. So here we are with you leaving bad reviews about my business. There is nothing I can do to change the situation at this point, or change your mind. It is what it is. I will also state I had done a full kitchen renovation and rebuilt a closet in your bedroom on two separate occasions. During the basement project you even stated how you still enjoy the kitchen. My offer to perform the repairs necessary to get the basement restored back to it's previous condition still stands. It is the repair of an access hole cut in the drywall, reinstallation of base trim and painting of that wall and trim. All of this above is not necessary.Tara G

You are your own worst enemy. I do not see any context in the above. I do see excuses. You can not call a client/customer screaming and having a full on tantrum because you are having a bad day. I'm not going back and forth with you. My basement is still torn apart and unfinished. People just need to read your reviews and responses here, on Yelp and other review sites to know the truth. You can not change facts and the facts are that you are incompetent, you are a bully and you are unprofessional. I am going to continue to make people aware of this. I do agree with you on one thing. It most certainly is what it is.Dombrowski Home Improvements, LLC

I was so incompetent that you hired me back to do your basement after doing two other projects for you.I didn't bully you at any ******* addition, your basement still being torn apart, is your decision. I offered to restore it back to its original ************* made the decision not to go on here and bash me instead of letting me restore it, which should've taken a few few days.Review fromBill G

1 starFrank is the most unprofessional contractor on the market. He will be taken to court after work is mitigated so i can be composited for all the damage he has caused. He talks a big game online but is a coward in person who try’s to have me sign an NDA because he knows his work was so bad and doesn’t want to truth to come out. Stay away!
