    On November 4th, 2022, J**** Viggiano & Co. delivered newly upholstered white sofas (which needed to be reupholstered due to their previous negligence) that was damaged due to their negligence. J**** Viggiano & Co. put the newly upholstered white furniture in the back of a moving van covered with dirty moving blankets. The furniture was stained due to the lack of care taken to transport the furniture. J**** Viggiano unsuccessfully tried to clean the furniture but the stains were too deep. Ultimately, J**** Viggiano (the owner) agreed to pay to have the furniture reupholstered again. This time Mr. Viggiano did not follow through on his promise. Mr. Viggiano communcated that he ordered the required fabric in December 2022 (it was never ordered). He promised to have an upholsterer pick up the sofas and reupholster them. The reupholsterer sent Mr. Viggiano his invoice on March 7, 2023 so he could get started - Mr. Viggiano never responded. Mr. Viggiano has cut off communications and has not followed up on his promises to resolve the matter. The sofas cost us $13,737.60 (including tax but not shipping) in 2022. The cost to reupholster the sofas is currently $7,000. We would like either 2 new sofas or both sofas reupholstered by Richard Herzog (the reupholster who has already been engaged by Mr. Viggiano).
