I am the current owner of my house and I have never given permission to House and Home magazine to send me mailing materials, though I kept getting their magazine issues with my full name and current address printed on the back of the magazine. On their website there is no obvious way for me to self-remove from their mailing list.I also have called during their business hour but always ended up with voice mail. This business is not practicing ethical marketing strategies.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/19/2023

We value our readers and welcome feedback from them at all times. Our website Housemagazine.com has a "Contact Us" tab on the bottom of the first page where a reader can ask to be removed from the mailing list. In addition, the reader states that they've called and ended up with voice mail.  I am personally in the office Monday - Thursday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, unless on vacation or attending a meeting. We check our voice mails diligently and had the individual left a message the address would have been deleted from the mailing list at that time. We have many readers who enjoy receiving the complimentary magazine directly to their homes. For anyone who does not want to receive the magazine, they can reach us either via the website or telephone. I have deleted this individual from our mailing list which will be effective with the May 2023 issue  (April is already in the mail). They should not receive this magazine going forward..
