MRO Corporation is responsible for providing records and bills from medical providers to requests such as attorneys. We have been trying to get bills for a client and the incompetence of MRO staff is unfathomable. We have called numerous times to request a supervisor call back for weeks. Hi, my name is ****** *******, and my date of birth is **********. I want to file a complaint against MRO Corporation. They charged me a service fee to release my medical records, but when I requested my entire medical history, some of the employees are being paid under the table by the hospitals to withhold certain records. The hospital violated HIPAA rules, and they dont want me to use this as evidence. MRO is lying to me and refusing to send me all the requested records. Hello,I requested my medical records from a Hospital and received a bill from MRO Corp. I called MRO Corp and disputed the bill. They agreed to take care of the balance and said they will mail me a $0 invoice. MRO Corp said they sent it out on 10/23/24. I did not receive it in the mail therefore, I called again and they said they mailed out another one on 11/7/24. Again, I never received it in the mail. I continue to call and email the Company and they keep telling me they will mail me the invoice with a $0 balance but they haven't mailed it to me. I asked to speak with a Supervisor and ********* *. Called me back. She is a Cheer 3 specialist who helps the Supervisor. She also told me she would mail me the invoice with a $0 balance. I still never received it the mail. She then emailed me a blurry copy of the invoice that I could not expand or print because it was not an attachment. I see on their website they adjusted the bill to a zero dollar balance, but I would like a copy mailed to my home address please. Also I wanted to complain about this Company for the several times they said they would mail me an invoice with a zero dollar balance, but never did. On 10/29/2024 I had an x-ray taken at *****************************************************************************. I requested a copy of the x-ray at the time because I want to see it and I want to show to my primary care physician. ********* told the request has to go through MRO. I called MRO and they sent me several forms. I filled them all out perfectly. Then they send me letters saying their is a delay but they don't say why. I call them repeatedly but they are unresponsive. Then they sent me more forms. I fill them out perfectly. Then they delay further. I need these x-rays and I will never stop demanding them. I have exhausted every reasonable way to get them but MRO continues to delay, put up needless roadblocks and refuses to send me my x-ray. Now I ask your help.Initial Complaint

I received a letter from this company demanding money for a service I DID NOT request from them. I also NEVER RECEIVED ANY MEDICAL REPORTS and even contacted their represented provider in writing and by phone to let them know although l made a request nothing was received. I got a call from ********* last week letting me know they were going to make another request. IF THEY PLAN TO CHARGE FOR THEIR SECOND ATTEMPT TO SEND THE RECORDS AND.PLAN TO CHARGE THEY DO NOT NEED TO SEND THEM. I requested a copy of lab results for my child. I submitted the required paperwork. I received a copy of the lab results along with a bill for $7.37. The $7.37 invoice for copies of medical records fee was NEVER disclosed prior to receiving the records. Had I known that there would be a fee, I would not requested the aforementioned records. The invoice number is ******** and the tracking number is NOHECJYNB25Y5. Both my lawyer and myself have been requesting my medical records for about six months now. Every time I call, I am given a different excuse as to why nothing has been done. I have been told forms were filled out incorrectly, payment wasnt received (although no bill has sent) and Ive also been told that the request was never received at all. I have sent multiple requests in multiple different ways and have proof of receipt. Every time I call to follow up, I am transferred to different people and today the call was simply disconnected.. which means the person hung up on me. It shouldnt take over six months for a medical record company to supply medical records. There seems to be nobody that cares or knows what is going on and the only people that suffer are patients. Im disgusted by the lack of empathy and complete disregard for patient concerns. I have made at least sixteen phone calls with 0 answers as to what the problem is and how to solve it. I was told to email my request for faster service, which I did last month and today I was told that nothing has been received. I need some answers and to talk to someone that cares, which seems to be impossible.Initial Complaint

I received this fraudulent invoice in my email box. I am a sole practitioner attorney for Family Court matters. Yet, I received this invoice for some civil case for a person/child I do not know or represent.Also, they claim they sent me this child's medical records! I never received this child's medical records. And if I did, that would violate this child's HIPAA privacy rights. I suppose I could represent the child in that proceeding.I don't know if this is straight-up criminal fraud or a complete screw-up by this company, but I never requested any medical records from this business and I never received medical records from this business. Receiving medical record requests for patients who aren't ours and this is not stating what insurance company they are working for. We tried to go to their webpage but it is not safe as per our firewall. Please address this company since they are not responsive and keep sending requests.
