      A technician from Attilo came to my residence for a boiler inspection needed for my municipality enforcement. The technician came and failed our inspection based on our carbon monoxide emission. When asked to provide the code for the failure, the technician was unable to provide one and stated that he did not know it. Upon research I provided the manager with the code for the national standard and was told that they would not be referring to that code and will not review our inspection. The manager than stated they follow a local code and when asked to provide it he refused to provide the local code and said he is not required to provide the code the company follows.

      This Customer does not know the proper code and is lying about us refusing to tell her the Code. She was informed of the Code over the phone: 50 PPM is unsafe, anything over 100 PPM is ILLEGAL and an immediate FAIL. She "*******" the code and misinterpreted it. She stated it is safe up to 400 PPM, which is definitely wrong. It is recommended to leave the premises with anything after 100 PPM Indoor CO emitting into air supply. 

      We were told by her Husband (who I'm not sure is certified) that he installed the unit. Well, he incorrectly installed the unit's exhaust tubing and is causing High CO to emit into the basement. The exhaust tubing shall be no more than 40 Feet, but he installed many elbows (90s) into the run in which each elbow accounts for 8 additional feet. This is an incorrect installation and is a detriment to the Home, including their children. This incorrect installation directly caused CO to emit back into the air supply. 

      I've attached the CO Reading we have which came right from our Combustion Analyzer. This was transmitted to her over the phone and she would not accept our results. We told them them this is highly UNSAFE and suggested they remedy the system. The Husband told our Tech they would still be running the unit. 

      We are a reputable Company, been in business since 1967, we have never and will never Fail a system that is Safe under Code. We are liable for any unsafe CO situations and take this into great consideration.

      I live a twin house. My neighbor has attilio install a gas heater and get rid of his oil. However, hvac company decided to mix a gas vent and oil vented chimney. Both Norristlwn chimney and attilio attempted to me it was not up to code. That this Situation is very dangerous and illeagle. They knew it was wrong when they put it in but they didn’t know what to do at the time. This caused as issue for my heater. Mixing the different fuels called detectable levels of carbon monoxide in my basement. Choked my heated. This when on for 5 days til my hvac team and chimney team discovered safety issue. The only reason Attilio a agreed to fix it was because they knew the fire Marshal could red tag the heaters. I am upset that this company continued to do something that was unsafe and not up to code. They put my life in jeopardy.
