On May 5, 2023, I bid on and won an auction. The ad stated that it was "Large,UNSORTED treasure hunter jewelry" Possible Gold Silver Gem +9 lb. I paid $178.99 for this jewelry.

I am attaching pictures which show that the jewelry was clearly sorted. Two of the bags state "junk" and the other one states "no falue" (value). Clearly these items were sorted.

I contacted Goodwill of Southwestern PA on 05/15/2023, I e-mailed them and stated that the jearly was clearly sorted due to the labeling on the clear bags. I got a response back that stated there were no refunds or returns and the bag was not sorted. I wrote back and attached pictures of the bags that were clearly marked "junk" and "no falue". Any reasonable person would realize that these items were clearly sorted. I again got a statement saying the items had not been sorted even though I had proof that they had been.

I explained to them that I would expect more out of a non-profit. I have literally spent thousands of dollars at shopgoodwill.com, and never have I been deceived or an auction be falsely advertised.

I would like to return this jewelry and receive my money back, I they are guilty of false advertisement.

***NOTE : PLEASE ZOOM IN ON THE PICTURES AS IT WAS HARD TO GET A PHOTO OF THE WRITING ON THE PACKAGE ***

Bag was listed as unsorted.  No refund to
customer as item was as described.  The labeled bags in question were part
of a jewelry store donation and had nothing to do with our process.   Thank you.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The bag had items that were marked junk.  It was obviously sorted.  I will contact the attorney general if this is not resolved.

    Regards,
