    Well here we go again. We have had the new WiFi TiVo wireless TV. And I can tell that this system is "garbage" it's been nothing a pain in my a** since the first day. I have already complained before and I will continue to complain until your company corrects the system. You sent a technician out to my house and he did all that he could do. He told me my WiFi was good. Well here is another situation that happened tonight, I wanted to watch a local *********** football game and guess what your system did? About every too three minutes I got the freeze frame with the circle that says " loading Video so I wait and wait for how long you never know and this happens all Day all night on every channel on every TV. In the morning we turn on the TV and we get " signing in" and wehave to wait who knows how longI'm sick and tired of this system. The old cabel system was excellent compared to this. And to think I'm paying for this every month ( I have 5 TV's ) I'm going to notify BBB and file a claim. Like I said the system sucks! Whoever designed this system needs to go back to the drawing board and start over!!!!!!

    The company is a farce. Just because someone who lived with me owes a bill I’m responsible for it? According to them they have the right any service anybody. So by their logic if someone who lives me commits murder I should be guilty too because they lived me.

    William W*** was not able to have service at his new address because he has an outstanding balance with SECV. He also admitted to living with his girlfriend when she was using our service at the current address he called to start service at. She also has an outstanding balance at that address because she was disconnected for nonpay a few months ago. I explained to Mr Weik that his outstanding balance and his girlfriend that still resides there with him needs to be paid for installing service at that address.

    Terrible Company and unacceptable treatment and customer service. This company is not even worth a star but you have to select at least 1 star.

    I have dealt with Service Electric for many years now due to the fact that it has been pretty basically the only service provider in this area. This is NOT my first time dealing with poor and unacceptable customer service/company and I would even go as far as saying unethical behavior and harassment. Just wow! I have been receiving voice messages from the office for a few months stating that I need to purchase a new modem. The message states that I can either purchase through SEC or purchase on my own. I have ignored these messages because there is NOTHING WRONG with my current modem or my service!! I believe this is to also push their 5G agenda as well which, I do not want in my home.
    I returned home today after a long day only to find that they now sent me an email for a WORK ORDER that by no means had my personal consent. The email gave me the ONLY choice of contacting them. They do not get to force me to do anything. I am the customer. It's not like I was months behind on paying for my service! This had nothing to do with money or my bill. Yet my service HAD BEEN SHUT OFF!!! After calling and trying to figure out why my service had been shut off, because I knew it was not about an unpaid bill etc., I was faced with a harsh, sharp, demeaning and condescending tone of the customer service rep Karen in the Sunbury Office. She spoke to me like I was a child. She basically told me the same thing that the voice messages said.

    In what world is it okay and does this require shutting someone's paid services off for?? Because you were not getting a response from me and I needed to purchase a new modem (in your opinion). Everything is working! This is harassment! NOT OKAY SERVICE ELECTRIC CABLEVISION! I will contact you when and if I have issues!! I am the customer....NOT the other way around! STOP harassing me.

    The customer has a motorola sb5100 cable modem. That modem is only capable of getting up to 40 megs download speed. It is recommended to rent a modem from SECV for the best possible Internet experience and support; however, she may purchase a modem from a third-party retailer. A DOCSIS 3.1 modem with a minimum of 24 X 8 channel bonding is recommended for optimal performance. Customers who purchase their own modem are responsible for troubleshooting modem-related issues using the manufacturer’s user manual. Some third-party retailer modems may not be capable of getting upgraded speeds. The CSR was trying to explain to her the importance of upgrading her cable modem. She has had it since 2020. The reason why her modem was shut down in the office was because we have made many attempts reaching out to her- via phone calls/and emails and had no response. She was not charged for the time the modem was shut down and she did call the same day we disabled it. As soon as she called into the office the modem was restarted and account was notated that she is not interested in upgrading her cable modem and is aware that she has an outdated modem. SECV was trying to be proactive and advise the customer that if they want the best internet experience, they need to upgrade their modem. She was not forced to purchase one from us but it was suggested that she should or at least lease it from us. That way if the modem needs firmware upgrade or replaced it would be SECV responsibility and not something that a customer would need to worry about.

    What gives you the right to shut my fully paid for service off because you couldn’t get ahold of me? That is you forcing me. You say you didn’t force me into buying a new modem but you still forced me to have to call and deal with you to get my fully paid for service back up and running after a ling hard day on my end. Especially, when I have had no issues with my modem until you shut the service off. If all you want to do is be proactive and suggest things, all your voice messages were sufficient enough! In what world is it okay for you to shut a paying customers service off because they didn’t answer your sales calls for a suggested upgrade?! That is completely poor customer service and not how you should run a business.
    Not only that, I believe that it is no coincidence that I started having issues just days after this incident! So, you want to say you didn’t force me into buying a new modem but that is precisely what you are doing. You have done a lot of violent forcing and it’s not okay and it needs to stop. I am the customer and will contact you if and when I need assistance. I no longer wish to hear from you in reguards to any sales pitch or recommendations.

    I have had service with Service Electric Cablevision for 15 years now and all I have to say is great things whenever I've had an issue they are more than willing to help me over the phone or come out to my house and rectify the issue quickly and efficiently. I always recommend service electric to others when they are new to the area. I do understand they are the only viable Internet provider but at least they're willing to stand the services that they offer. I have many family members that live in a Comcast dominated area, and they constantly complain to me that their service is dropping or they have to pay for even someone to come and look if there is an issue even if it's one from Comcast themselves. I've never had to pay for a single technician to come and look at any of my equipment or services that I subscribed to, and everybody is always very cordial and nice when they are on the phone or in my home. I hope this service quality continues into the future.
