    In late June of 2023, I called POP's Appliance Repairs to fix my stove. After looking at my stove, the technician - and also owner of the business, ***************************** - told me I would need a new stove. He quoted a price of $2150 and asked if he could purchase it directly with my credit card. I foolishly agreed. He told me that I'd be hearing from him about scheduling the installation. I never did. In the meantime, my **************** bill arrived showing a charge of $2595.20 directly to his business. I immediately contacted him to ask when the stove would finally be installed and to complain about the overcharge of almost $500. He scheduled a date and assured me I'd be getting a check for the overcharge. That was in July. I have never received a single penny. He cancelled the first delivery date in August and never showed up on the second one (no call, no text). At that point, I finally had enough of him and his broken promises and lies. He suggested that he refund me the full amount as a resolution to my complaints, and I agreed. That was the first week in September. Despite multiple assurances that I'd receive a check - and constant complaints from me - I've never received it. That was two and a half months ago. This man is a liar and a swindler. Do not even consider hiring him to do anything. He took my money and delivered nothing in return and hasn't given my money back as he assured me he would many months ago. With the help of my lawyer, we're giving him one final chance to repay me. If he doesn't, we will refer the matter to the local police while continuing to pursue the matter through the courts. BEWARE OF THIS CHEAT.

    We had Pop's Appliance Repair in the past one time for our washer. All went well. We called Pop's Appliance for our washer again on 10/9/2023. ********************* was quick to respond and was able to come that day. He told us the washer was not worth repairing as it was 25 years old.He told us he could get us a new ********* washer to us by Thursday 10/12. Then he siad he would rearrange some dishwasher deliveries and deliver Wednesday afternoon 10/11. We wrote a check for $751.54.On Thursday, he was a no show. Checking my on line banking, the check had been cashed 10/10. We called 2 times without a response. Then we used my husband's cell phone to call. ********************* called back immediately. He acted like a truck broke down. We were already skeptical after reading reviews on ******** and BBB. We asked for a refund.He texted 10/18 that the check was being processed this week. It is now 10/25 with no check.
