In 2020, I was referred to Killer Interactive LLC (KIL) and personally paid KIL to design a website for a family member ($3551). However, the family member did not want to pursue the website. Moving forward, in 2022, I recontacted KIL to ask if that payment could be applied towards developing and designing a new website for a local, non-profit community pool. I and other community members serve as the volunteer board of the pool. This would serve as a nice donation to the pool. In September 2022, KIL agreed these already received funds would be directly applied for development and design of the pool website. A contract was signed (I have requested a copy of the fully signed contract and have never received- a blank copy is downloaded). I did, however, receive an email from KIL stating the development and design of the pool website are "covered in the balance already paid" (see excerpt 9/22 downloaded email). Between September 2022 and August 2023, a new logo was made and paid for ($750). The website hosting and maintenance fees were also paid ($859). A new website was literally constructed, but completion has halted. The website remains unusable and cannot be launched. It contains several uncorrected errors despite multiple, itemized emails requesting fixes. Moreover, the communication with KIL is abysmal. Phone calls to the company are unanswered; email responses are sometimes not received for literally months at a time. We have remained as patient as humanly possible, but the situation is simply untenable. KIL has failed to produce a functional website nearly one year after inception of this project in 9/22 (the estimated time to complete the project was approximately 60 business days). At this point, we will not use anything created by KIL. The pool board will look elsewhere for a new logo, website and maintenance. Resultantly, a full refund of $5160- the sum of three included invoices- is requested. We hope for a prompt resolution.
