They allowed my mother with dementia with the manipulation and coercion of her neighbor to sign herself into their community/nursing home. The neighbor filled out the application and filled out my mom's check and my mom signed the check.. Then Traditions wouldn't refund the deposit. They never asked for family to be present or notified or even for a Power of Attorney. Anyone can bring your relative or loved one in, sign them in, and then once Traditions has their money, you won't get even a portion of the deposit back. They took a $2,000 deposit from my 81-year-old mother with dementia, and wouldn't refund even part of her money. This is their policy. Keep your loved ones away from this community, They are all about the money and taking advantage of the elderly, not about caring for those cognitively impaired individuals. Shame on them!
