    Purchased Fender Flares on 5/10/2023. the mounting hardware is already breaking. they have a warranty for the product they are refusing to honor, service associate ******. was rude in responding to me as stating i was requesting a return, which i never was. i would just like new hardware sent so I can still use their product. i like the product a lot, but my simple request for replacement hardware was met with nothing but insults, lack of clarity, and a refusal to honor their own warranty

    We have reached out to the consumer and advised them via voicemail that even though this item does not have a warranty and the item has been discontinued we have submitted a request to try to source the hardware requested.     I received the communication from the business. I do not want to accept or reject their response until i get final word on if they are able to process what they communicated. I have already sent them what they need to start the process? Is that okay? I do not want to close this complaint

    I am rejecting this response because: they are not doing anything of substance with my issue. They are refusing to honor the warranty and rejecting every attempt with me to compromise. See attached

    I purchased a front bumper of theirs in December of 2022. I bought it after looking at their ******** and how they seemed to pride their self on durability and toughness. Upon opening the bumper I noticed there were several chips in the powder coat allowing bare metal to show and rust. I contacted them and told them and was offered a $10 store credit for a $700 bumper that was beginning to rust when I opened it. A month or so after original contact I noticed when it rains or the bumper gets wet, the welds in it allow rust water to leak all down the front and out of the welds. This is certainly weakening it and cutting the life of the bumper in fractions. When I confronted them about this I was simply told to spray paint it. This bumper is on a $50k truck, spray painting it is simply not an option. I have pictures of the bumper as well as some of our correspondence.

    The consumer purchased this Bumper in December of 2022. The bumper does not come with a warranty- however the consumer has the option at time of purchase to add on an extended warranty. For this item we offer a 12, 24, and 36 month option. The consumer did not purchase an extended warranty. When the consumer contacted us we apologized that this was over 30 days and did not have a warranty. We suggested products to help with and to cover the rust. We also offered store credit.

    I was never offered a warranty and was offered $30 store credit on a $700+ bumper. And it's false advertisement to boot.
