    Main Line Transmission fixed/rebuild broken trans band November(2022). Car completed December at $3000. car started shuddering back and fourth and banging into overdrive kinda hard as i pulled out lot. Took the car back a second time and they said two engine mounts were bad, I had them replaced a year before that and my mechanic checked them a month prior before rebuilt and said they were good, they replace both and charge me an extra $250, which i did not need. Wife, friends, family, when road in car, felt the same thing (I guess they all cant be wrong).Took car back a total 5 times, They threw their hands up in the air with an attitude and said there's nothing wrong with your transmission.The other transmission specialists told me, (Not always problems show up on scanners). hate driving my car anymore. Upset with tears in my eyes, owner said fith time there ( I guess we have to rebuild your transmission again with an attitude and hands in air). I since took my car to 2 expert transmission specialist and 2 regular mechanics and they said torque converter and possible shift solenoids. The other mechanics said there's definitely something wrong with your transmission, they all said my car is known for very smooth shifting and not hard and jerky, Mechanics went over my car a fine toothpick to make sure nothing else was wrong. also. owner wanted to schedule me for a trans rebuild but attitude at 5 times going back there, I lost complete trust with them and do not want them working on my car ever again, Wanted a $1,000 refund, Towards the next rebuild elswhere, No refund from them as of yet. I am on disability and funds r tight. Its June still having the problems with trans, I will get rebuilt trans by end summer, someone else.., and every time I drive, sometimes shudders back and fourth & once in a while bangs from 3rd to drive. Maybe people had luck, but I absolutely had a horrible experience and would never recommend main line transmissions to anyone.

    THIS CUSTOMER BROUGHT THE CAR BACK A NUMBER OF TIMES, WE NEVER FELT A SHUDDER OR PROBLEM, OF COURSE WE GET FRUSTRATED WHEN WE CAN"T FIND A PROBLEM. IF WE COULD DUPLICATE IT WE WOULD FIX IT. WE TALKED TO HIS MECHANIC AND HE TOLD US THAT HE NEVER TOLD THE CUSTOMER HIS MOUNTS WERE GOOD.    IF THE TORQUE CONVERTER WAS BAD OR DEFECTIVE IT WOULD NOT HAVE LASTED TILL NOW.    I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HIS TRANSMISSION. TO PUT THIS PROBLEM TO REST I WOULD BE WILLING TO REFUND HIM THE $ 1000.00 AFTER I SEE HIS INVOICE FOR A REBUILT TRANSMISSION. AND OF COURSE THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED.   I DON"T DOUBT THAT HE IS FEELING SOMETHING BUT I DON'T THINK IT'S FROM THE TRANS.  THE LAST TIME I SPOKE TO THE CUSTOMER WE AGREED TO REBUILT HIS TRANS AGAIN AT NO CHARGE TO HIM AND HE WAS IN FAVOR OF THAT. AT NO TIME DID I GET NASTY OR RUDE TO HIM,  WE MERELY SAID THAT WE COULDN'T FIND OR DUPLICATE HIS COMPLAINT.   I WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO HIS EXPERT TRANSMISSION GUY'S THAT SAID MY WORK IS DEFECTIVE. WHOEVER SAID THAT THE TORQUE CONVERTER IS BAD HAS NO IDEA HOW IT WORKS.  IF IT WAS BAD IT CERTAINLY WOULD SET A CODE. THATS WHY THE CAR HAS A COMPUTER TO PICK THESE THINGS UP.  I DON'T SAY THAT THE CUSTOMER IS WRONG BUT WHY DID IT NEVER ACT UP WHEN WE DROVE IT WITH HIM AT LEAST 5 TIMES, AND HE WILL ADMIT TO THAT FACT.    THAT IS MY RESPONSE.     I'LL WAIT TO SEE THE INVOICE AND TALK TO THE TRANS SHOP ABOUT WHAT HE FOUND.
