    The employee ******* could not correctly pull up my childrens benefits and tried to charge me a out of pocket of nearly $300 just for my daughter. My daughter has ******************* I told her she was incorrect and I confirmed benefits with *** prior to appointment. She told me that "sometimes the insurances say you're covered but you're not". After she checked again she saw she was wrong and fixed the bill to around $75. My son has *** insurance. She then told me that he only was covered $7 toward a frame and his yearly eye exam. I told her she was incorrect about this as well as my daughter used to have GHP and received 2 pair of standard glasses per year. Dr ********* came over to talk with me at this time and tried to tell me my son had almost no coverage and it would be out of pocket. I explained my daughter had just switch from GHP to UHC and I had no out of pocket expense for the older 2 pair of glasses she had received from her prior optometrist. How did she receive her glasses at no expense if there was only a $7 coverage? In which Dr ********************** told me, in front of my 8 year old daughter in a very mean tone that "well, her glasses must have only been a $7 pair of glasses."I was heartbroken for my daughter as the doctor just pretty much told my daughter that her glasses were "cheap". My 8 yr old daughter caught this and later questioned me about her old glasses and now feels insecure about them thinking they aren't good enough.. Also while they were rechecking my (6 year old) son ********* coverage Dr ********************** kept purposely mispronouncing his name as ********* to her employees as they tied to pull up his coverage to fix his bill. (she was just in the exam room and was saying it correctly until I disputed the out of pocket expenses.) I have spoken (with daughters insurance **** on the line) with Dr ********************** and caught her in lies about talking to me and she and the employees were also very rude to the poor insurance **** as well. It was horrible
