    This person said he was gonna provide his private chef experience but turned out he was a scam and he just stole me and my friends money. He should not be able to do business as he will do this to other innocent people. It turns out he has already done this to other people. Hes a thief and a scam artist.

    My friend and I had booked a private dinner through the website ****.com with William Sandly a few weeks ago for a Bachelor Party (the dinner was for 9/16). He cancelled the day of the dinner citing a complication with his wife's pregnancy, we were all bummed but obviously nothing you can do about that and we just hoped his family was safe and healthy. Looking into it more on ******** and other platforms it appears he has done this before to other folks. It has now been weeks, we have yet to receive our money back from William after he said it would just take 3-5 business days for a refund to go through. Originally he answered texts and calls but has since become unresponsive to our calls, texts and emails so it feels like we have been scammed out of $1320. My friend and I both paid him through Venmo, which is cash, so we are having a very hard time understanding why it is taking so long to give us a refund. We split the payment in half, so I am seeking my $660 I sent my payment to William on 9/14.I have filed a claim through ***** (the company he invoiced us through) but they have not been very helpful. It seems he is still able to take bookings through the site we used. I attached the original invoice and both the venmo payment screenshot from venmo as well as my bank statement.
