    Hired Jane Draws Plans initially in 2020 to create architectural plans for a renovation in ************. Paid in full for the service at that time, but could not proceed with the project. Contacted Jane Draws Plans in June of this year to inform her that I was now ready to move forward with the project and ask if any changes are needed to the plans or new developments with the City of ************ before I submitted. She explained that many changes had taken place and I needed to hire her to create the plans from scratch. I agreed based on her assumed expertise and she made a site visit on June 27, 2024. I paid her BEFORE the plans were provided to me, as that was her policy. The total amount was $650.00 paid on July 8th. The plans were to be acceptable by the City and up to their current specifications and code requirements so that I could obtain a building permit to begin the renovation. She had recommended an engineer (******* ****) who I was told to hire and pay separately to put the final stamp on the plans. **** sent the plans on July 24th, but there were mistakes. She sent revised plans on August 2nd to which there were questions. She took 10 days to respond. Since obtaining payment, it became common for her to go weeks without a response or acknowledgement of any kind, even though the job was not yet completed. I informed both **** and the engineer on Nov 18 that the City was missing several items that are required to be submitted as part of the plans for the permit to be issued. I was met with a response by **** on Nov 19 via email **** and I will be in contact and I will get you the plans. It is now nearly one month since that email was sent and **** has not once responded to a follow up email / text / phone call. I now am looking to hire someone else to make the corrections even though this is a service that I already paid for in full to Jane Draws Plans. This is causing undue financial strain and no resolution to date. Please help.

    No response from **** at all since I submitted this complaint.  Going on two months of her neglecting to communicate with me.  I had to hire someone else to help complete the job and the only desired resolution now is a refund.   At the very least, I want other consumers to be made aware that she is not a trustworthy professional.   Through word of mouth, I have recently discovered others had similar poor experiences, but there are no publicized reviews or place to find reviews about her business when performing an online search.

    On January 18th 2022, I hired *************************** to draw up plans for my property at *********************, Philadelphia, PA. I paid her $2,600 and she provided the plans timely on February 7th, 2022. However, once the plans were submitted to the city for permit review, the city asked for revisions to be made to the plans. I reached back out to **** about the revisions on July 18, 2022, only to find out that she decided to take a sabbatical for 6 months. I've reached out again, recently and received no response. I've since hired another representative to help with expediting the permits and they have reached out to **** on November 11, 2022 asking if she has revised plans. **** responded on November 13th, 2022 stating the most recent set she has are from February 5th, 2022. I've paid for a service that is incomplete and my permit approvals for my project are on hold because **** is continuously unreachable.
