Hi, good afternoon. My name is ****, and I wanted to write an email explaining the excruciating and arduous process I have been through in the last 12 months regarding my iPhone service at iGeeks.I originally brought my green iPhone 13 Pro *** to ********* location for a screen replacement back in January of 2023. Between January and June of 2023, after much pushing from me, it was determined that the phone would need battery soldering in addition to the screen replacement, and I had authorized that service. The phone was then allegedly sent to the Fishtown location for this service. On 12/4, around 1pm, I stopped into ********* location to ask about a status, and the technician had found my ticket and texted the Fishtown location for an update, and he told me that he would call me when he had one. As of 4:15pm, I had received no call. Thus, I called the Fishtown location, and the technician there was very confused by my request, and rightfully so given that it has been almost 12 months since I have dropped off the phone. Then, it was advised that I "stop into the store" (I live in *****, so this is not a simple request). Once I was able to get through what I was looking for, I got the routine "I'll call you back when I have an update, if you don't hear from me today, you will tomorrow", which is almost the exact same wording I receive every time I ask for an update, no matter the technician. As of 12/15, I had not heard any response. I would also like to note that this same situation has happened each time I asked for a status: the confusion, the pushing for an update, and then no follow-up communication on the contrary to the multiple technicians I have spoken to. Then months go by and I have to start the process all over again.
