    I am sending this complaint because this company is not only scamming me but others, the company is First Choice Restoration LLC, at ********************************. They came out to my home and was supposed to review some damage however they torn down walls, pulled up flooring in the living room, ripped down walls in the basement as well, however (didn't do any repairs) and then charged me $6,000+. I refused to pay because I only ask for an estimate, so we went to Philadelphia Municipal Court, I won they case because the company did unauthorize work, but never gave me an estimate, never gave me an itemized list of the work done until the day we were in court, Took advantage of a 85-year-old sick women (my mother who I have power of attorney over) sign a document she didn't understand when they arrive at my home. they took minimum pictures, however I did and used them at court. Now they are trying to take me to Court of Common pleas, Philadelphia County. (Arbitration Level Case). they are now trying to get $9921.88 from me. while I was at court, I met a woman who had the same issue we had and was also fighting her case with the same company. I would ask you to investigate this company, I believe they are trying to take advantage of people. They are overcharging and betting on people being scared and with the threat of court. Again, I won the original case, but they are now taking me to next level Arbitration court. I don't feel I owe them anything, they didn't perform any authorized work and cost me $1300 to get a contractor to dry wall my living area.

    Please be advised that this letter is in response to your letter that concerns the above referenced customer. 
    Keep in mind that this *** ******* file is in litigation, and we can only make limited responses. *** ******* retained our company to remediate her mold and water problem. This job was completed according to industry standards. She had no complaints until her insurance  company would not pay for it. She also retained an attorney that advised her that *********  would have paid for our remediation invoice, but she refused to cooperate with her attorney.  Therefore, she is responsible for paying our invoice. We cannot work for free. She retained  us, now she must pay us.
