      I have paid Batoffs garage door and services $1,075 as advance payment on March 05, 2022 to install a new garage door at my residence. He visited my residence two times since then to look at the location and plan the installation. He (****) told me that it will take few months to get the garage door and he told me over a phone call that he received the door in July, 2022. He has been avoiding my phone calls or text messages since then. I have not heard from him about the proposed work. At this time I am suspecting that this is a fraudulent transaction. I am attaching the receipt that I received from this business on March 05,2022. Please look into this matter. I can not approach different contractors as my money is held with **** at this time.

      We ordered a garage door from Batoff's Garage Doors and Service on April 26 and paid a $1575 deposit via check, were told 6-8 weeks for delivery and install. We were told he would place the order the next day and then send a timeline for delivery and installation. On June 1, I finally received an invoice from the company, and only after I texted and called often for five weeks! On July 12, I was told the product would be in the following week. After many more texts from me, on August 17, I was told we could set up install for the following week. I have heard nothing since despite many texts and phone calls. ****, the owner, who is the only person we have worked with and contacted, has completely ghosted us. At this point, we would just like our deposit back.

      On July 27, 2022, we decided to hire Mike B***** to replace our garage door. On July 29, he came out to measure and to collect a 50% deposit. I wrote him a check for $625. Since the door was in stock, he said he would send me the paperwork and come to install the door on August 4 at 11:30. he never sent the paperwork. he never came. he didn’t call or communicate with us in any way. I texted him that day, but he never replied. Four days later, on 8/8/2022 he cashed our check. I texted him again on 8/5/2022, 8/10/2022, and 8/15/2022. He never responded to any text. I sent an email on 8/16/2022 to which he never responded. I also tried to call several times, but my calls were never answered. I left one message, then began to get a message that the “message box was full.” When I finally called him from my husband’s phone, he picked up right away. He told me he would come to install the door on Aug 19. He never came and he never called. I texted him 8/29/2022, 8/30/2022, 8/31/2022. He never replied. On August 31, 2022 I sent he a certified letter. On Sept 15 I texted to ask if he received the letter. he texted right back: “I did not receive a letter. Who am I speaking with?” After I told him, he did not reply. On Sept 26, he texted that he would come out Sept 30 and install the door. He did not show up. He said he would come the next day, Oct 1. he did not show up. he said he would send me paperwork. he did not. he said he would come Oct 2. he did not show up. I have texted him Oct 2, Oct 7, Oct 13, and Oct 26 with no reply. On Oct 26 I left a voicemail message and got no call back. On Nov 7 I called again and left another message. I have sent him letters to the address on his website and the address on his LLC listing. They were all returned to sender. I had to call one of his suppliers to get his address. I have no idea if it's correct or not.
