    Background: My car was hit by many other mechanics and should have been totaled. ****** estimated the repairs at about $9k, instead of the actual around $16k. The repairs started over a year ago and there is still damage. The paint job is my main complaint.The one damage I want to be rectified is the body paint job they did. It doesn't match the rest of the car. Three other body shops inspected the car and identified it as a poorly done job and it is possible to be done correctly. I asked ***** (one of Guie's owners) several times to fix it and showed paint differences (see photos, including one with a spot with the manufacturer's paint),*****, repeatedlysaid thepaint job was acceptable.and on our last interaction, she told me, "We're not repainting the doors", and walked away.      I was waiting on the photos I have requested from BBB which *************** sent in as per her complaint of color match which I haven't received yet. I'm submitting color chips of all the alternate colors that are a possible match for this car. As you can see there isn't one manufacture color as to the fact that cars are painted in many different factories. Also this is a very light lime green color which is very prone to fading which makes this a more difficult process.

         As I explained to Ms. ****** we only blended the color on her doors , the color was over the repaired part and the rest of the door was just clear coated as per manufacture specifications. The color on the back of her door to the quarter is the same color that it was when it came in. The only difference is the new shinny clear coat paint which eventually will fade as well. 

      As per her question of being totaled that is a question for the insurance company. We work off of the estimate of repair given to us by the insures ****************** In this case it was Allstate who gave us an original estimate of $9435.00 until tear down. Allstate came out on 8/12,8/17,8/19 9/15,9/20 & 9/26 to inspect any additional damage, it would have been then that the insurance company could have deemed the car totaled.
