    02/02/23 At JDs Auto Body, JD looked at my 1970 ** ******, told me $2700 to paint the inside and outside of the car. JD told he would pain all the green areas on the car and clean up the headliner which had green paint marks on the headliner, I asked him the estimate this project to take.JD said 2 weeks. At 3 weeks I called about the progress, "Its tasking longer then expected. At 3/10 car was covered in fille, no progress made. This went on for weeks with no answers or lied too April came I finally called the manager, he actually shouted at me told me the car will be done when its done and then he hung up. May 6 I went to the shop[ and saw that the car the mechanic working on the car had painted the outside grill area incorrectly black which totally ruins the vintage look of the car. I asked why the car was not ready I was told the car has to be detailed. They also told me they were waiting on bulbs for the car. That confused me because their only job was painting the car and not touching anything else Also there were missive drips on the body and the inside paint was not attempted. The mechanic said he would have the car complete on 17 May he shook my hand but with updates I called was told I could pick up my car on Friday 14 after 5pm. I arrived paid the amount owed and and a fee I was not told about I asked to see the manger, he refused to talk to me. The car is a mess, The inside not painted, painted areas showed pre color coming thru. The foot well not painted. New parts purchased were not installed, Doors were torn apart the hardware missing to put the door has been lost so the window on the drivers side will not close. Had to special order the missing hardware. Ive asked to speak to JD numerous times but have been ignored. I asked for some spray paint so I could get the car finished myself. I was told id would have to pay for it. The car took 14 weeks and a messed up half painted car with missing parts was handed back to me.
