On 11/15/2024 I received the worst service of my life. The stylist who attempted to do my hair was so unprofessional and her attitude was unpleasant. The stylist told me she could do something to my hair before I sat in her chair. I was reassured after asking if she was sure. A washer in the shop washed my hair and I waited to get my hair done in the next steps. The washer asked me to sit in the chair to blow my hair out. My phone was dying and no one else in the shop had a 15 pro charger so I paid for the service ahead of time. I waited for the stylist to come and blow out my hair while I watched her eat , place tracks inside of her head, and etc... The stylist then walks over and runs her hands through my hair and picks around in it. she then says" their nothing I can do to this" "It's uneven and the foundation isn't there." AFTER the fact I asked her if she could do my hair. I unwillingly paid for the service thinking my hair was going to be done. I have video proof of the "service" this lady did to my hair.

We are sorry to hear that this client has taken these measures about her service. The client called the day of and requested someone to style her hair in a wave mold style. Upon speaking to her via telephone, we asked questions to see if her hair was relaxed due to that particular style needing to be done on freshly relaxed hair. The client then stated that she had recently relaxed her hair and she would be good to go.

When she arrived to her appointment, the stylist took a look at her hair and saw that her hair was not freshly relaxed, but it was very soiled/dirty so the Stylist did not put her hands all through her hair as that is unsanitary for us. The stylist told her the shampoo assistant will get her started, and she will examine her hair once it is thoroughly cleaned. Once her hair was shampooed and blow dried, the Stylist took a look and said to achieve the style that she wanted, she would have to get a haircut as her hair was in very bad condition and was not freshly relaxed. The client insisted that something could be done with it in the shape that it was in! The stylist told her in her professional opinion she could not give ************* with the state that her hair was in. The stylist recommended fixing her haircut as the client cut her hair at home and again the hair was not freshly relaxed.

The client stated she did not want a haircut so the stylist said OK well unfortunately, I cannot style your hair. What we can do is just charge you for your wash and blow dry since we did cleanse your hair and your scalp and the client was upset, but agreed that she would pay for the service that she did indeed receive.

The Stylist then took her to the front desk and she changed her service price to a discounted rate of $45. When in fact, our cleansing is $65.

The client was still very argumentative and insisted that the Stylist could have done something besides just a wash and blow dry, and Stylist was very calm and told her she was a professional and she could not style her hair in the condition that it was and just take her money because it would not last or look good at all. The client then left out of the salon, went to her car talk to her sister on the phone and then came back in the salon to complain and said that her sister who does hair says that she could have did something to her hair.

We again reassured her that unfortunately, it needed more than what she booked for, and we did not feel comfortable doing her hair in the state that it was in so thats why we agreed on just giving her the discounted rate for what she did receive, which was a shampoo and blow dry cleansing of the hair.
