    1. Dealer/seller said car was checked out and certain issues were resolved: Turbo charger and timing change. 2. Issues were not resolved and mechanic was told to clear a code - that's a fraudulent sale 3. dealer/seller said he would pay for the turbocharger. I had to pay for labor - that was much more than the part. If it was already done, why am I paying for labor. 4. Turbocharger wasn't done like he stated. On the invoice, - it was a boost test that was done. 5. Timing chain was not done. On the invoice - it was a timing change gasket cover that was changed. 6. Dealer talked these changes to myself and a witness, stating the invoice was in the glove box. I am not a mechanic, but the **** dealership is and verified that the turbocharger was not changed, nor was the timing chain. 7. There was a leak in the rear valve cover, possibly from the timing not being done. 8. I have spoken to the seller because these issues were apparently there before I purchased the car, I was told they were fixed, but they weren't. 9. I haven't even had a chance to enjoy my car because it's been in the shop on a regular. 10. Dealer is now saying that he can't help me because he paid for the turbocharger like he said he would. 11. I am sure that he knew about all of these other issues because he said they were fixed. How do you know to fix something unless you know that there is an issue. 12. I shouldn't have to pay for labor for things that were supposedly done - via his words.

    Dear ***************************;

    On 4/21/2023

    *************************** came it to purchase a 2012 **** **
The vehicle was sold in AS IS CONDTITON

After 2 Weeks of purchasing the vehicle *** ****** Contaced us that she had a check engine light on for a turbo code.
We told her to stop by our mechanics so they can take a look at the issue.
*** ****** then went to the **** dealership. The **** Dealership RECOMMENDED HER TO CHANGE THE TURBO 1. ALSO **** SERVICE AT THIS  MILAGE  RECOMMENDED TO DO HER TIMING CHAIN.

The vehicle didn't need no timing chain replaced no codes for timing as-well.
No Signs of valve cover leaks
We Recommend ******** to go to our mechanics ********************* on ************.

We came to an agreement that she wanted us to get the turbo for her and she will pay for labor.
We felt Accommodating as much as we could by purchasing the turbo for her which we did and all she had to do is pay for the labor, And that's what we agreed on.

I Will Also include a copy of the bill of sale at the day of purchase. As Well as we Clearly explained to *** ****** that it is an AS IS SALE.

Any Further questions or concerns Please contact us at ************

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The seller stated that the car had a turbo charger and timing chain done.  I don't mind the "As Is' but the work he said was done on the car was not done as he stated.  The check engine light has constantly been on and there was indeed an oil leak.  The same mechanic that he took it to for inspection of the car are the mechanics who fixed the oil leak.  I have all of the paper work.

I don't want a refund on the car, I want a refund for having to make the repairs that the seller said were already done.  If it had a turbo charge and timing chain done, then why am I paying to get those things done again?  The labor on these items is more than the parts.

**** even stated can I get in contact with the seller because the car needed a lot of work.  I am attaching the message from ****.  2 of these repairs the seller stated were made, but they weren't.

He stated that the car was checked out and repairs were made.  I would like a refund for the repairs that were supposedly made - labor is costing more than the part.

I have invoices for all of the repairs that I have had to make on this vehicle that he said was checked out.  I couldn't even enjoy my purchase because I couldn't get it inspected until the check engine light was gone.

    Regards,

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: the seller never showed me the receipt, just stated that it was in the glove box.  He spoke word of mouth what was done- what he said was done is NOT what was done.  He said turbo charger and timing chain was done. He paid for the turbo charger but not the labor.  I want a refund for the labor, in which I paid and I want the timing chain done- as he stated was done.

    Regards,
