    Dec 20th, 2023 Booked a 12:30 appointment online. Deposit for $50 and a gratuity was added on for $9. I live approximately an hour from the salon and left with a 10 minute buffer window to ensure I arrived on time.Unanticipated traffic and a light out on Ridge Ave delayed me. I called the salon at 12:20 to let them know I would be late. The said that they would cancel my appointment and I would lose the $59. I told them I would keep coming, perhaps my GPS was incorrect.I walked into the salon at 12:39. They would not refund my money or see me (even though there were 20 minutes left of the 30 minute appointment). They were absolutely rigid on their policy, though the woman was very kind and remorseful about it. I asked if I could be refunded the $9 gratuity. She said no. Their policy is what it is (>5 minutes late, you lose everything, as you can see in the attached pdf), but that they would not refund the gratuity for a service not rendered is absolutely wrong. I am very upset and frustrated that they were completely inflexible for circumstances beyond my control. Their website has several reviews citing similar issues. Ideally, I would like a full refund. Realistically, I would like to at least be refunded my gratuity. I have emailed the salon as well.

    I accidentally booked my eyebrow appointment (65$) a week later than I meant to using their online tool (the only way you can book). When I showed up and realized it was next week, I asked to change the appointment to any future date or stylist since I could not make the appointment time I accidentally scheduled. This business has the most dishonest policies. They took my money and would not allow me to schedule any other appointment or stylist, unless I paid twice. Even though my appointment was still a week away. There are many negative reviews about this businesses dishonest policies. They also do not have a proper entrance to the salon and if you are 5 minutes late, they take your money with no refund. Please see the policy below: *PAYMENTS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER DATES, TIMES AND ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER PARTIES. *PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! NO CALL/NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED THE BALANCE OF SERVICE SCHEDULED! * SERVICES THAT ARE PAID IN FULL ARE FINAL AND ARE NOT REFUNDABLE! *PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT TARDINESS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES LATE YOUR APPOINTMENT IS CANCELLED. PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB US WHILE WE ARE IN A SESSION.
