I'm February of 2019, I received dental work from above named business. I paid $1,960 to the company for the work because my insurance company was supposed to pay the remaining half. I feel BECAUSE I was insured at the time of receiving work the bill should be on my insurance company not me. If I was supposed to pay the full balance I would never have received the work in the first place. The company is threatening to send my account to collections which is a huge problem. The company caller was also very nasty and mean when she called.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/08/2023

We received a letter last week in regards to a complaint, ID ******** patient *********************.  Patient has a balance since 2019, we had sent statements, emails and had spoken with him several times, as a matter of fact we had a note from 4/19/21 he was at the office and when we ask for payment, he said that he just got out of jail and started working so will try to make payments as he can we told him he can make payments in parts and he never paid.  Last time we call him to update the address and ask for payments he threaten over the phone that if we sent him to collection he will be filled a complaint.  He just do not want to pay his balance.  He has a balance because his insurance was terminated so didnt pay.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
At the time I received my work on my teeth I was insured because if my insurance was terminated how did I receive work? Secondly, the agreement between myself and and I. Dentical is that I pay my portion and the insurance would cover the other. If the insurance company refused to pay that should fall on them not me. I paid what I was required to pay and I signed a contract and receipt

    Regards,
