I had a root canal performed at this business 7/6/22, next step 7/8/22 and crown placed 8/4/22. I paid a total of $2, 050 out of pocket for this. After going to a new dentist with tooth pain, the xray revealed that one of the canals of the tooth wasn't treated and sealed like the other canal. I was seen in the office 10/20/23 to rectify this issue and have this repaired. The male manager offered no resolution and refused to take accountability for the root canal not being performed properly in the first place, only stating I signed a consent that states I am aware root canals can fail. I acknowledge awareness about that, however, even another employee who took my xray, said the other half of the tooth was not properly treated. I explained my concerns to the manager, who spoke to me extremely condescending and treating me like I was a joke and he was taunting me. I asked to speak to the person in charger. He said that is him. I ask to speak to somebody above him, he said no, you can't, "I'm the highest person you can talk to". I asked for a refund of my money or to repair my tooth and he told me you will not be getting either. All of this was after they made me an appointment when I called and explained the issue and when I arrived they told me I can't be seen, I need to see my other dentist about it, then I could be seen if I paid $100, then after the manager told me I can be seen without paying $100.

Due to healthcare nature of this complaint we are not able to comment on medical issues without a prior authorization by the patient. We are happy to forward a release form to you to have the customer sign and then we can discuss medical questions.  As far as the "general financial" claims made here.  Any root canal procedure for any patient in general is not a 100% guarantee to have a good outcome. in-fact these procedures have only about 80% success rates.  this is clearly explained in the content form.  The work was done to the best of standart of care and when I asked this customer for a letter confirming that the work was not done property, she did not have any documentation.  in cases like "in general" we are happy to provide solutions such as re-treatment, implants, etc with a deep discount. We would be happy to help this customer to resolve her issues.

I had to get extractions all my teeth remove from the top. I am requesting a refund that I deposited to Yes dental for implants. I decided I wanted implants and they told me I could start by giving a deposit so I deposited $3,000 on 01/27/22. They said they will start my treatment when I deposit have of the total which it was 10,200. I reached out to them at the beginning of 12/2022 to get my refund back because I can’t get it done because I can’t afford it and the front seat lady ***** told me after several calls on 12/08/22 they submitted an email to send me the check for the $3,000 because the couldn’t deposited in my card because I have a different one, she also mentioned that it will te ale 7 to 14 business days. I called to check the status at the begging of January 2023 and the owner said he can’t send me the money because it wasn’t refundable. After a couple of calls that I couldn’t get a hold of the owner I told the front desk lady ***** that I will then seek legal advise because I didn’t t sign any policy or paper that says I couldn’t get my refund back. She called me back and said that the owner said for the second time that it’s ok that he was going to send me the money again but that so will have to wait the 7 to 14 business days again. I waited and when I called the lady in the front desk ***** said that he said that he wasn’t going to give it to me again. I finally got in contact with him and he said that he was not going to give me the money back because it was not refundable and that they had an internal policy that states that but one that they never told me about. A couple of days later the front desk lady calls me and told me to go and pick up a check that he left me and it was made for $2410 because he deducted $500 for a lab fee and $90 for using a credit and because it was over a year ago. The first time O called to try to get the money back was on December. I don’t know what else can I do. I need the help to get my money back. Thanks.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The company took advantage of the situation I am in economically and gave me $2,490.  They did not give me my full refund. They said they had to charge for labs that I never got done and what I did get done my insurance paid for it.  For the implants we didn’t start.  I only got a CT Scan done and I paid out of my pocket for that.  Also a $90 for paying with my card over a year ago but when I first ask for the refund was on 12/2022.  The owner just gave me the run around and got back to me after the year was up which it was really on 01/2023.
