My complaint is similar to the last complaint! I ordered a 20 yard dumpster from Liberty Dumpster and received a 15 yard dumpster from a company named ****. I too called the company on the dumpster and found out that Liberty subcontracted this rental to this company (which I believe is related by marriage) and that company charges LESS MONEY FOR MORE TONAGE than Liberty. We filled the dumpster with mainly wood and debris. A picture is attached. We did add 6 pieces of wood fence and 3 mattresses before closing up the dumpster for pick up. After they picked up the dumpster, they charged me $398 for an overage of 2.03 tons, IRONICALLY THE EXACT AMOUNT ON THE LAST PERSONS COMPLAINT! I too asked for evidence of this overage from a receipt the transfer dump station. They emailed me an invoice with a clip board (picture attached) or a persons finger over the date and the ticket number, and with my address handwritten on the bottom of the invoice. I would also have expected the invoice coming from the transfer station to have the dumpster number listed for traceability. I have repeatedly asked them for an a copy of a legible & unobscured invoice. They keep sending me the same one. They continue to claim that the dumpster was 20 yards when the measurement was only 14 1/2 yards instead of 22 yards long which is the proper measurement for a 20 yard dumpster. Also, 2.03 tons cannot even fit in a 15 yard dumpster! I also checked the license number on the contract with the City of Philadelphia licenses and inspections department. The license number ****** they listed on the contract is not a dumpster service license, but rather a mechanical license issued to a ******* ***** in 2012. This company is not legitimate or trustworthy. After reading the BBB terms, I see we are not supposed to include personal information. The address is listed on this complaint and on the invoice as proof, so I hope that’s ok. If not, BBB can delete the invoice before posting. Thanks.
