    On October 17, 2022 I contacted Barry Fisher Electrical and stated I had flickering and dimming lights in all the rooms of my house. When he arrived on 10.17.22 he inspected my electrical box, outside wiring, etc. He stated I needed a new top cable and 100 amp meter socket and ground to water pipes. (see invoice attached) He told me the cost for this repair to fix the electrical problem would be $2,000.00 which I put on my credit card. I was terrified that I might have an electrical fire if he did not fix it and I stated that to him. At no time whatsoever before he did the work did he suggest to me that flickering/dimming lights are ****'S responsibility! Only after I called him the next day to tell him the lights were still flickering and dimming did he tell me to call ****'s emergency number !! I was so angry that he did not suggest I call **** BEFORE doing the work which I realized I did not even need. He apologized and told me he should have communicated to me that the problem could have been with ****!! Imagine an electrician with over 30 years experience not relaying this information to a customer. He returned to my home after I spoke with him and told him I felt I was swindled and was taken advantage of because of my ignorance of this being a **** matter!! He refunded $300.00 in cash to me. I am still paying the remaining $1700.00 that I had to put on my credit card. Every time I make a payment, I am reminded of how this unscrupulous electrician took advantage of my vulnerability and fear! I do not want this to happen to any other senior citizen or anyone!!

    To whom it may concern;
    All work was done as needed the electric company does not replace main service cables and meter sockets and does not do any work inside a customers house as was done with grounding customers water pipes and replacement of the service cable and meter socket there was no swindling or unscrupulous doing or taking advantage of her as a senior citizen in any manner. Contract and emergency work authorization and release claim enclosed.
    after work was completed customer called said that she still had trouble so i told her to call **** i believe she did not understand that the problem needed both the electrician and **** after a few more days the customer called and asked for some money back in agreement i returned $300.00 for release of any and all claims as per agreed verbal and signed settlement as such this means this is already a resolved claim.
    All that being said i whould be willing to agree to a mutual amount for the customer to remove her complaint and agree not to make any more bad reviews and or complaints.

    Thank you,

    Barry Fisher

    I will accept $700.00 more in settlement of this claim.   That leaves 1000.00 which I paid Barry Fischer for work i did not need.

    Therefore an additional 700.00 refund from Barry Fisher will settle this matter.  I  do not want Barry Fisher coming into my home again with the settlement money if he agrees.  I do not trust this man in my home again.  He is to mail a check to me.  Thank you for your continuing help in this matter.
