Had my account for a very long time, even paid them for the services, covid hit and I had to go inactive from my account for over 6 months and they refuse to help. They wont delete the account from their system so I can create a new one, and they wont reactivate it so I can log back in. I find this very unethical, all of my other accounts are linked to this email and it seems extremely shady they are just sitting on these accounts like this. *****

This email service is terrible. They deleted my email accounts for "impermissible activity" but they refuse to tell me what the activities were. I only used the email a few time over several years. I attempted to create a new account, and it wouldn't let me. I wouldn't risk attempting to use this as a primary email address, because they might delete your account without warning or notice. ********* says that they are out of *********, *******. They need to stay there. This is not the way we do business in *******.

**************** seems to hate customers. I just wanted to upgrade and they refused to help me upgrade until I upgraded. Worst employees ever. Maybe the *** should get more involved.

Don't trust these people. Go with any other email provider, IMO!

I signed up with Mail.com's free email service because I could select a great email address. I have been using their email for about 3 or 4 months now and only had an issue once, about a month ago when , according to mail.com, my accouny had activityy, irregular actifity, so my access was blocked. It took about a day or so to resolve and I had no additional problems until yesterday. and the same thing happened again -I was BLOCKED and not allowed to access my emails. I contacted them with the link provided and when I got up this morning I was "allowed" to log in again. . It's been about 4 or 5 hours now and once again, my account has been blocked. I think it is the mail.com way of forcing free account holders into upgrading to a paid account! IF i ever get back into my account I will printout all of my emails and close the account. No legitimate company BLOCKS their account holder's access to their own emails . . .
I have a comcast email address I've had for years and 2 gmail accounts & I have NEVER been locked out of thouse accounts but this one I've been locked out of 3 times in less than 4 months! Ridiculous!

mail.com is by far the MOST UNRELIABLE email system from anyone in existence. We are running a cybersec school, and so we have for years now been asking our students and attendees to create email accounts in various systems for testing and operations. mail.com is the easiest system TO HACK, even get and find users' passwords, forgive us but its really terrible. Accounts are also locked and blocked for no apparent reason, and then lost forever. We have asked our students to provide SCREENSHOTS of their accounts having been hacked, where hackers from around the world FOUND(!) and changed their passwords. This has happened ONLY IN mail.com, none of the other email providers had that issue. Also, more than half of our students tell us that while attempting to create new email account, the ****************** system fails them giving them account cannot be created, try later. But later its the same thing, its a total waste of time.Again, please forgive us but we cannot recommend mail.com, we just cannot trust it.

Horrible company. I just opened an email account for my elderly friend and they closed/blocked it before we could really use it. I opened it so I could open a craiglist account to find him a place to live. he was told his landlord hasn't paid the mortgage in 9 months so the bank bought it and is evicting everyone. The landlord knew for 3 months and told everyone they have a week to move because the bank owns it now. so now I cannot even close the ********** account without a link to this email Hate this email service Horrible horrible horrible

Zero stars for service. I had no recollection of signing up for a new email account much less with a "Premium" service in 2020/21. Naturally it is an email address I never used and the messages do not get forwarded to any account that I do use. Today (2023) I received a charge for the premium service. Having no idea what it was, I was able to find online that I had an account. i promptly called to cancel the service but was told that I was beyond the cancellation period. The agent I spoke with was unhelpful, dismissive, and rude. Not only do I not recall signing up for such a service years ago, but I will make sure to share only interactions with them (totally negative) in the hope that helps others legitimately considering their services.
