      In February, signed up for a 12 month contract with this electricity supplier through ***. I received the 12 month contract in the mail several days later. The rate was 8.315/kWh All great! I get my April bill, and it's double! I had no idea why. I logged onto *** website, and to my surprise, my rate jumped to 17.400/kwh. I contacted them by phone, spoke to *****. Read her the letter I received in February telling her it was a new contract and not a cancellation like she thought. I emailed her the letter and contract. No reply. Sent a second email, no reply. So I had to shop for another supplier and in the meantime, I get stuck with the high bill for two months at that high rate, plus I could have found another supplier back in February at that rate. Now I have an increased rate and shorter contract. I'm not quite sure how they do business breaking contracts with no notification.

      For 12/2022 and 01/2023 Energy Plus Electric Supply bill is three times more than ***** bill. We only elderly couple lives in this house. These electric bill is outrageous never paid this much in my life. ***** charge is $220.40 but Energy Plus charge is $644.15 December 2022 ***** Bill is $247.52 But Energy Plus is $719.49 Sept,Oct,Nov/2022 ***** bill is $386.36 VS Energy plus is $1031.64 Total 5 month total alone ***** $854.28 VS Energy Plus $2395.34 About three times more than ***** Bill. Jan through Aug 2022 ***** is $1571.19 VS Energy Plus is $2665.06 I never renew and never notified or without explanation. They keep charge higher and higher without our acknowledge. This is highway robbery.

      I am the overseer of finances for ************ Church in New Holland PA. We are a nonprofit and we are exempt from paying sales tax on supply charges for electric to the church. They have been contacted at least once a month since August to request that the sales tax so being charged and to refund the money and they have not yet done so. Exemption documentation was provided in August and never processed, so now it is going into another review process. At this point we continue to be charged sales tax and every dollar matters to a small church of our size.

      I own a 2 unit duplex in Drexel Hill, PA since July 2016. I registered with **** upon purchase of this building, and I occupy both units. At the time I called **** I NEVER consented to a 3rd party energy supply company. My bills for Unit B have always been significantly higher than unit A, which was always concerning and confusing, but after many calls to **** they never offered a reason. During a phone call to **** yesterday they informed me that since July of 2016 I was registered with Energy Plus Holding as a 3rd party energy supplier and that it has been in place since 2016. **** confirmed that this was done with out my consent, no signature, and that Energy plus needed to be contacted. They said that this has been on the second page of my billing statement, which I NEVER noticed. I have always paid my bills to ****. they take my money. So they gave me the number to energy plus. I called this company, and they also confirmed that this was done entirely with out my consent and that they are allowed to do this. NOBODY will take responsibility even though both companies have confirmed that I never authorized or consented to this, and it's only attached to one of the units I own. That makes no sense. This company has scammed me out of thousands of dollars over the last 5 years and I want money back. My bill would have been significantly lower had I been using ****, as I thought I was. I am livid and going to contact the utility commission and an attorney if this company does not agree to give me money back for the years they've stolen from me. This is a horrible scam and can only be described at complete and total theft. I believe that **** is totally complicit in this scam. I will not rest until I get my money back. Energy plus tried to offer my 75$ as restitution and to close my complaint. I declined that money, as it's not even close to the amount of money they've stolen from me. This is a criminal company that preys on people with the help of ****.
